Places to see near Dawn G.’s Land
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We stayed for one night and were very happy with the experience. Dawn is a fantastic human being and made us feel welcome immediately. The area was well equipped and accommodating. Would stay here again 100%.
It's a campsite next to the house with a firepit, some chairs and a BBQ. It was level and quiet. The property is close enough to town to ride bikes and there's a trail you can walk just across from the campsite.
2 peaceful nights
My Fiance and I enjoyed a 2 night stay at Dawns wonderful and peaceful property. The campsite was lovely with many thoughtful touches-guidebooks, fire wood for the fire ring, even a bucket with water next to the fire. The chairs set up by the fire ring were very comfortable for relaxing. My dog enjoyed his time there as well. Dawn had some back up dog supplies just in case we forgot ours. My dog had his first sightings of goats while at the campsite, he was intrigued and just watched them. He liked the chickens as well. My suburban dog has never these before. We loved waking up to the peaceful setting, nice places to walk our dog as well. The location was convenient. Close to Tumalo State Park and The Bite, food carts. We would most definitely stay here again. And look forward to having the opportunity again.
Such a great spot!
This campsite went above and beyond what we expected. It wasn’t quite as private as what we were expecting, being that it was right next to the owners house, and there were some people doing yard work til about 8pm. But aside from that the campsite was very quaint, had EVERYTHING that you would need and more! The host was very accommodating and thought of lots of little touches. It was also in a great location, just 5 minutes off the highway from Bend. Would definitely stay here again
Wonderful, relaxing atmosphere!
I loved staying here. The site is good and Dawn, the host, is incredible. She was very hospitable and informative about things to do in the area. Plenty of firewood for the pit and a great little seating area around it for prolonged enjoyment. Definitely will come again!
Great location and hospitality!
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great as it's just a few minutes from downtown Bend and not too far from Sisters. The campsite is quiet and we loved the hammocks and chairs around the fire. It was fun to see the goats, chickens, and dogs. The toilet in the teepee is unique and clean. Dawn was a great host and provided ice, some firewood and a couple of beers for us. She was available to answer any questions we had and made us feel comfortable during our stay.
