The season will end the 1 October.  It normally snows the 1st time by the middle of October.

There is a small Buddy propane heater and an electric heater in the '29.  Easy to heat and keep warm.

This, as the pictures show is a 1929 1 1/2 ton Chevy flatbed with a "camper" on the back. One of a kind. Pristine inside and out. Most photographed item any where it is. Dbl bed up above the cab, larger than couch for sleeping on the main floor. Two burner stove, water, lights, back lights, 12 ft X 12ft deck off of the back of the unit, skylights the entire length of the camper. Accent lighting out over the deck.  Tall table and 2 chairs on the deck, you can see out over the railing and all of "What A View".  All plates, pots and pans to cook on 2 burner propane stove. Refrigerator in the unit, cold when you arrive.  There is a camp box all set up on a table on the deck for cooking outside.  Small barbeque is available for use.

I say limited to 2 guests and children will work/putting up a small tent on the deck or off of the deck will work, we can just about making anything sensible work for you.  Dogs are allowed.  If your dog barks, please don't book.

Dave's place truly is a little piece of heaven. It is amazing to be right on the lake, to have access to kayaks, to have the beautiful deck, truck camper, and fire pit to use. The loft bed in the camper is small (for two people) and firm, but there's a side bench that makes for a very comfy bed for one person, plus you can see the stars out the window from that spot. Dave is super friendly and is full-heartedly dedicated to sharing this special place with folks. He even made improvements to the place while we were there (adding lights to the deck and grabbing a cutting board for us while he was in town). He provided firewood, gave us some ice for our cooler when we needed it, and let us use his tandem kayak to explore the lake, which we took full advantage of each day we were there! Plus, he has the sweetest dog, Stormy, who often came by to visit us.

David was a great host, fantastic site, the camper truck is super cozy and well equipped. David has a number of sites all fairly close in proximity for our taste, but everyone there was warm and friendly.

I'd love to go back and stay there, David was a warm and accommodating host. It was a bit tricky to find the spot but overall it was well worth the experience.
