The season will end October 1.  It normally snows the 1st time by the middle of October.

Start the season 1 June, 2021.  Please keep in mind the 1st 2 weeks of June can be a little dicey for camping, but the fishing normally is very good.

Raiseing the price of the sites/purchase of the books to $50 after October 1, 2020,.  Everyone is telling me I am not charging enough..... could one recieve a better compliment.  Keep in mind, you don't have to purchase wood, it is provided.  There will be 2 single kayaks, 2 tandem kayaks, 2 paddle boards, 1 canoe and 2 Keppler Master row boats//sail boats, both classics and rare for them to be useable.  I don't charge for the use of any of the kayaks/canoes/Keppler's.  And of course there is the experience of getting to spend time in "heaven".

Folks, the late arrivals make it hard on me.  Late to me is after 7 and for sure 8 or 9 or after.  So, here is the way it has got to be.  If you can not arrive and get situated by 7:00 and I prefer 5 or 6:00 don't book.  Book for the next day.  Why in the world would you want to arrive in Heaven when it is dark?  It makes it hard on me and it is distrubing to everyone else who is settled in and relaxing.  If something comes up message me or call me.

Quiet time is at 10:00.  We gave had a few instances where folks stayed up until midnight talking and it makes it hard on everyone else.  So please help out on this.

PrimarilyTent's only.  Some smaller Van/very small trailer types allowed. Two/2 adults and children.  You need to message me and inform me what you have in the way of a unit.

No RV's, which to me is 20 ft trailers and motor homes.

I am a meet and greet kind of guy.  So if I don't come right down, come up and find me.

There are designated fire pits with small  fires. The area is flat/clean/private deeded propoerty area in the National Monument.

All sites are right on the beach or off of the beach and individually placed with trees seperating all sites..

It is quite, private and a no non sense enviornment.

OK Folks.  You are showing up with BARKING DOGS.  A dog that barks is a reflection on its owner.  Need I say more.  If your dog barks when the kids play, when you are throwing sticks, I don't care what the reason is, don't book, or don't bring the dog.

Limited alcohol consumption.  No smoking.  No loud music.  No bickering or arguing.  No screaming children, screaming and playing are entirely two different things.  Please don't drive in and out any more than necissary.  Please unload, set up and then take your vehicle up above and back it in/park it.  Please  think while you are at the grocery store.  Practice the 5 P's...Proper Preperation Prevents Poor Performance.

There are no warnings.  You comply, act like adults, use common sense or you will be asked to leave.

If you show up rowdy, under the influence, your funds for the purchase of the two books will be returned and you will be asked to turn around and leave.

OK.  I am getting my butt chewed out on the "vauge" instructions on how to get here.  "Heaven" is on East Lake.  Simple to get here directions.  Turn left going south on 97 at the Cascade RV Park/Newberry National Monument...Paulina Lake/East Lake road.  It is known as Paulina Lake Road.  You turn left just before Mile Post 16 and come on down to the lake.  Do not rely on your GPS/Google Map.  This is simple.  Mile Post 16 is just after 15 and just before 17.

Dave’s place is the perfect lakeside escape – you’ll feel like you stumbled upon hidden gold when you pull up here.

Unlike nearby campgrounds, this spot is totally secluded and offers plenty of room to keep a safe distance from other folks. It’s as beautiful as any campsite around, too. The two days we spent here felt like we had a piece of the lake all to ourselves, a truly memorable and rare experience. Bonus points for tons of firewood, a free-standing deck good for eating and sunbathing, and a super friendly, generous host. Thanks a million, Dave! Can’t wait to come back for another visit.
