Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters. Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village.

Crater Lake Resort - Tent Site 4
Great spot with everything close at hand.. There was a store close by, a little pricey, but that is to be expected

Crater Lake Resort - Tent Site 4
Great Place - BOOK DIRECTLY W/ THEM
Pros: The campsite (I ended up in Tent Site 5) was idyllic: right next to a little creek, under a beautiful tree, with a sky full of stars and some lil frogs jumping around. Crater Lake Resort is perfect for those of us who like to rough it *just a bit*: it has bathrooms with a shower, a general store with wifi, a playground and even a pickleball court! Def recommend it for solo travelers and families alike. Cons: The reason I ended up in Tent Site 5 was because when I got there I found out that, despite getting a confirmation email from Hipcamp, they had NO RECORD of my reserving a campsite for that night. Thankfully they had one free, but if they didn't I'd be out $90 with no place to stay! They said this has happened w/ HipCamp before, and that their prices are way lower if you book with them directly. So, in short -- stay at Crater Lake Resort if you're in the area, but DON'T book it through HipCamp!

Crater Lake Resort - Tent Site 5
Beautiful, grassy camp site by the river. Good amenities, but you'll hear other campers and the RVs.

Crater Lake Resort - Tent Site 6
Campsite 6 - Summer Camp
Crater Lake Resort is an excellent location for any amenities you need between toilets, showers, convenience store, play area, etc. Best case it's also a short 15 min drive to Crater Lake National Park. Site 6 is a large plot with some tree shade and a view of the creek that wraps around it. It's the furthest from any of the other sites/cabins and that makes it a walk-in site for car campers. YMMV - the lodge had a feel of Summer Camp vibes and so you might get large of groups of folks coming in and using all the amenities, which can be fine as long as you know what to expect. The sites between tent/RV/cabin are also very close together. Saw a large RV check in late at night and had a 2p tent neighbor feel all of the pains of that RV getting set up. For Site 6, it was fine because it's deeper/further out and everything else was still accessible. There's also a mini hike that wraps around the backside and follows the creek which has nice views of flauna.

Crater Lake Resort - Tent Site 4
It was a lovely campsite. The creek nearby was beautiful. Nice having the store nearby for firewood and other items. Only thing is, there's a ton of mosquitoes so bring bug juice!

Crater Lake Resort - Tent Site 6
The amenities were very nice to have and clean. You aren’t able to park at your tent site and mosquitos were rampant.
