Amazing spot - one of the best hip camps we had our entire trip. Lots of space, composting toilet, quiet site, electrical available. Only thing to note is that there's no direct water hookup (you have to retrieve from hose at hosts house). Would recommend!

Our family had a wonderful time. There were only 4 tent sites and they all were far away from each other.
We had the first night all to ourselves. Star gazing was amazing and the location was not to far from town, so if you need supplies you don't have to go far. 10 out of 10!

Nice place. Big open area. We were just in town for a baseball tournament so we didn’t get to hang out there much but it was nice and we’d definitely come back again!

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! We star gazed every night, I was able to have peaceful meditation and found a huge 🍄. The place is superiority to other hipcamps we have been to. Highly recommend and we will be back. Only thing I wish it had is full hookups, luckily we had basic electricity to run heater and basics.

We have been here several times and absolutely love it! So much nature, wonderful sheep, and a wonderful host! The individual sites are quite spacious, and it's incredibly quiet at night. Highly recommend!

Nick’s land is so serene and beautiful. We had a deluge of rain while there, but Nick reminded us of the many microclimates that are in the area. The space is very well kept and Nick was kind and helpful upon our arrival (I’m always asking questions). The sheep and cranberry bogs made for beautiful views from our quiet, coastal site. It’s a short drive into Bandon, and the drive is easy to navigate. Honor the long driveway and the neighbors!

We spent three nights at Black Moon Farms in mid-October. What a great choice! First off Nick is a great host, friendly and accommodating without being in our “space.” He truly made us feel like we were at our own place. It was cranberry harvest time and Nick walked us through the entire process. Very cool!
Overall, my wife and I both thought that the main positive aspect of our stay was the serenity and security. Having just came from a crazy busy, rude campground a few hours north of there, this was so very welcome.
So, if ever given the opportunity took book a few nights at Nick’s place, I would highly recommend it.
Oh, when the ocean is angry you can certainly hear it!

Lovely and peaceful property with a friendly dog and sheep. Nick the host stopped by one evening on his tractor, and helped me ID mushrooms I found on a hike. I enjoyed walking around the misty cranberry bogs and blueberry patches. Dogs loved napping in the sun, and there were also plenty of shady spots. Comfortable Adirondack chairs and great fire pit. Good location between Bandon and Port Orford. I would definitely return.

Beautiful property, nice spot to put your tent. The adirondak chairs and elevated metal fire pit were awesome! The resident dog came by and hung out, ran around with our somewhat shy pup, which was great! If she'll play with him, probably your dog will too :-)
The only thing I would say is it would be nice if the toilet tent was in a neutral location, rather than in another tent site as it's a bit awkward to walk into (almost into, anyway) someone else's camp to use the restroom. But the composting toilet complete with an actual wooden toilet seat was great!
Easy to get to, super responsive host, and a free bundle of firewood to boot. Thanks Nick!

Beautiful coastal farm with spacious campsites. We loved walking the farm and watching the goats roam with the gentle sound of the ocean crashing in the distance. Clean, very well kept farm. Nick was kind enough to let our son pick some blueberries left over from their recent harvest, he loved running around and exploring. It felt very private. Great spot!

Cranberry overlook was wonderful! We do recommend arriving early as we were the third party to arrive and there are only 2 established camp spots. Our second night we got to move into one of them and that was quite nice, to have a fire and picnic table. The Boggs are so cool to see and the dog that lives there was very chill.

Nick is a friendly host and his property is beautiful. Our site was very private, set in a large field, with something pretty everywhere we looked. There were sheeps, a cranberry field, a blog, and birds! We had a great, peaceful time there.

Hipcamp can be a gamble. We can only tell so much by the pics and we need to spend time reading between the lines of the reviews… but this campsite was so perfect, I can barely find enough glowing descriptors to adequately review our stay.
Serene, welcoming, expansive, accommodating, gorgeous, inspiring, secluded, thoughtful, exceptional…
We just loved it.
After a bit of confusion about our camp location and nervousness about not setting up in the wrong spot, we made contact with Nick and quickly realized… THERE US NO WRONG SPOT. Our city stress just sloughed right off when we realized that we had landed in the right place.
It was so comfortable and perfect for our five day camping trip. That was the gamble, driving as far as we did and spending five days… it could have been a life lesson, but instead we all decided, as we gazed at the stars for one last night, that we’d found our forever home right there on Nick’s property and we were sad to leave.
Bella was such a sweet addition to our group, coming to visit us nightly and playing with our dogs, I miss her…
Nick was so hospitable and accommodating, driving firewood out to our site and spending time to chat, a luxury I would imagine he has very little of considering the size of the property and the obvious work he puts into it.
Just fabulous, Every bit if it. I thank Nick for sharing his space with us giving us the much needed vacation we’ve waited too long to take. Cheers!

We had a great three nights here! This setting is so calm and quiet, felt like we were the only ones in the world even though we had neighbors camping right next to us. We tent camped and the site was level and clean, a fire pit and chairs and a picnic table with garbage can were included. Located close to lots of things to do. The toliet worked as far as giving privacy - but was really just a receptacle, not sure what he does with the waste afterwards and it got to smelling pretty bad. Nick was easily reachable using text and even told us how to get more firewood. Lovely property, we would recommend to anyone ❤️

The farm was awesome! Nick was friendly and welcoming. The site was clean and quiet. One other camper arrived but the sites are far enough away we barely noticed them. It was just the thing we needed to finish off our busy trip.
