Located in the beautiful Applegate Valley, Yale Creek farm seeks to create a beneficial and respectful environment for visitors to have meaningful experiences. There are 6 cabins, 1 dome, and a main house on the property. This gives the farm a community feel while being spacious enough to provide privacy.
The farm itself is a great place to relax because of the careful management of the property, comfy lodging, and natural elements. There are also many things to do in the nearby area, including visiting excellent wineries or hiking the Sterling ditch mine trail. For outdoor enthusiasts, there is Mt. Ashland for mountain biking, and the Rogue River for boating. Despite having the feeling of being away from city life, Ashland is only 45 minutes away. Popular things to do in the city include the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, or spending time in Lithia Park.
We offer individual space rentals, but also full farm rentals for those who want to bring large groups or hold events and workshops. Visit our website if you are interested in renting out the whole farm.
Important wifi update: Due to covid-19, the interior of our Common Ground Barn is off-limits. This means that wifi use is minimal as none of the cabins have wifi. Visitors can use the barn's wifi from outside the building, but it may be unreliable, and there is currently no protection from the elements. We hope to soon be able to offer the building to guests, but we cannot during this time.

The cabin is so unbelievably cozy and the landscape itself is spectacular. We were so pleased and our expectations exceeded.
This is a unique and special place to stay. Lydia is both attentive and charming. Sunrise cabin was cozy with a wide view of the valley. The Applegate Valley is also a very special place with many small farms that produce cheeses (by George, that’s the name) and breads for the Oregon area.
I will return.
The hospitality was incredible. The cabin was very private and cozy. Wood was all stocked, the compostable toilet was rad, and the views were great! I enjoyed cooking food, relaxing in bed, watching the fire, and star gazing! It was a blast.
The Sunrise Cabin was amazing. Props to whoever designed the place because the views from the large windows were fantastic and the furnace circulated to make sure our stay was nice and toasty. We loved that the Barn was a short walk away (wifi!) and the composting toilet was great. The only thing is, for some reason, the toilet door wouldn't close all the way but I think it was due to the wood swelling from the rain.
Other than that, it was a marvelous getaway from urban life and my boyfriend and I will definitely be coming back again soon!
