--Deschutes County Fire Ban in effect July/August each year--

Lazy River RV hook-up site #1 has a spectacular view of Mt. Bachelor and Broken Top. Both sites are  30-AMP (only) sites with electricity, water and sewer hook-ups! Location, Location, Location!  You may choose from two hook up sites (we rent one at a time).

The Hook-up Site #1 View Site (front of house): In an extension of our driveway-You will park on a flat, FULLY-graveled camp site.   There is a new gathering  area added to this site (fire ban during July/August each year). The site is  surrounded by 3 acres of grass and open sky.  Our 3 acres are located in a large clearing (dry wetlands) surrounded by pines in the distance with phenomenal views of Mt. Bachelor and Broken Top from site #1.

The Hook-up Site #2 (back of house)Territorial View with some shade: You may either park on a flat gravel area or in grass.  This is a larger site than #1.  This hook up site does not have a view of the mountains--however a glimpse of Paulina Peak to the east. It has a more "big sky" feel with tall pines in the distance.  You might catch a great sunrise from this site.  Best for families who want lots of room to spread out close to their RV.

Sorry no guest Wifi at this time-however, the property has a strong 4G signal.

Dogs over 20 lbs. must be on leash while on property.

Check-In starts at 1pm; Check-out by noon

Our location is the "Back door" to all summer and winter fun! In the winter you are close to skiing and snowmobiling (Paulina Falls) on Mt. Bachelor, HooDoo or Willamette Pass! Summer time, you are close to the High Lakes and world-class Fishing and hiking (Paulina Lake, East Lake and Craine Prairie).  Want a lazy float? We are across the street from the Little Deschutes River with put-ins and take-outs less than a mile away. Like to play Golf? Quail Run Golf Course a champion 18-hole course is 1 mile away.  Paulina and East Lakes (13 miles away), Hiking (too many to list!). Property is located in the Wildlife Protection Zone, so there is ample wildlife viewing opportunities.  No light pollution for spectacular star gazing. Corn hole set up - available in the summer months.

A wonderful site! Great location, close to many amazing outdoor adventures, but not so far from town you can’t get the necessities. We were greeted with local information, adventure tips, and felt very welcome. Great spot for dogs too :)

Would definitely recommend, and will be booking again!!

The hosts are super nice and very helpful. The ‘site’ has full hookups, which is awesome, but you’re staying on their gravel driveway, in a neighborhood. No picnic table or anything. Pluses: you have access to some outdoor spaces to run the dogs, their yard to play cornhole in and you are the only trailer there. Beautiful views of the mountains, but you look over their Above ground septic field to see them. If they had a site back in the field and put a table and a spot for a fire, it would be worth the money. I can stay in my own driveway.

We appreciate your review as we are new Hipcamp hosts and are always seeking to improve our spots. Both of our RV hook up sites were add-on extensions to our drive way. They both sit askew from our drive which were flattened and graveled. The "above ground septic mound" is actually our grey water sand filter, which is required to be above ground due to the nature of the zoning here (wetlands). We are currently upgrading the site to add a fence and plantings along with an area patch of grass right at the site--although many folks enjoy spreading out on our 3 acres of grass.

The hosts, Monique and Jeff, were extremely friendly and helpful. The site is nice, with full hookups, nice mountain views and close to a lot of recreation opportunities. If you like kayaking and fishing, there are several options. Recommend this place for a weekend getaway.

This was our first experience using a Hipcamp site and we couldn't have picked a better place!! The hosts were absolutely the BEST!! They offered us free use of the area and gave us tips and literature of all the surrounding places and activities. We thoughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Lazy River Ranch.

The hosts were helpful and friendly, but not intrusive. The site had everything we needed, with a gorgeous view of the mountain.
We had plenty of room to play with our dog, which I loved. The area itself is beautiful, with lots to do. When we come back to the area, we would love to stay here again.

Very quiet and private with views of pastures and horses and alpacas. Monique and Jeff went out of their way to greet us and To share a thick stack of pamphlets and brochures describing things to do while we were there. A drive over scenic route 42 was the highlight of our trip. They are working on getting WiFi coverage to the sight.
