Staying with Cecilia has been the highlight of my roadtrip so far. The directions were clear and the house was easy to find. I was greeted by her two very kind dogs and beautiful, Blue, the sheep. The Meadow was quiet, secluded and I could really make the space my own for a couple days. Cecilia is so welcoming and accommodating. She gave me fresh eggs from the chickens and we swapped stories. I definitely recommend staying here. It’s well worth the drive from Northern Oregon and Crater Lake.
Private tent area and camp table
Staying on Cecilia's property was so delightful and she was able to accommodate us last minute when our other camping site fell through! She provided a porter-potty, bug spray, TP and farm fresh eggs! There's a tent spot and a table set up at the site which is a private field behind her home. If you have to carry a lot of equipment just be aware that there is a short trail that is slightly uphill from the driveway where you park. Also she has adorable baby goats but they can be loud, although they didn't bother us a bit! I would highly recommend staying here based off the location right off HWY 5 and close to Crater lake!
I absolutely loved this campsite! It's right behind the host's house, but it feels like a whole other world. It's very private and you get amazing views of the mountain, but it's right off of I-5. Overall a fantastic place to relax!
Had a beautiful time at Cecilia's. Staying another night was a good call, because all of the campgrounds at Crater Lake were closed! So many other sites to see in the area too, along the Rogue River and in Grants Pass. The beauty, farm fresh eggs and conversations with Blue the Sheep are well worth your money!
Ceder medow was a great place to stay! The host is very friendly and lended us a camping stove of her own and a pan as we forgot ours! The lot is beautiful and a good distance from Grants Pass and Medford. It is a very private spot located on her property, and is well kept. She does have family that live around her whom ventured on her property during our stay, other than that this place was such a tranquil environment! I wish we could have stayed longer!!!
Cecilia was an amazing host. Her home and land are both beautiful and she was so welcoming when I arrived. The meadow is a little hike up from where you park to a lovely meadow. She has a flat spot for your tent to setup that is shaded. The spot is ideal for a 3 person tent or smaller. Provided on site is a table with chairs, a spot to setup your camp stove and a place to use the restroom with toilet paper. She gave me delicious eggs from her hens when I arrived as well. I wish I had more time to explore the hiking trail with her on her property. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! If you have a poison oak sensitivity, be cautious on the path.
Cecilia is very nice and very accomodating. I arrived after dark, and she accompanied me to the spot, and showed me the basic layout. She has a hammock set up for those that want it (I definitely did), and it was very relaxing, softly swaying and watching the stars until I slipped into slumber.
