We had a great stay at Brenda's Tiny Creekside Cabin. The entire property was really well maintained with tons of accommodations to make the stay easy and fun. The cabin is located right above a river that runs through the property next to Brenda's house. There are multiple covered areas to prepare and eat meals with larger groups of people. She has a coffee pot, hot plate, stovetop, and barbeque, and tons of other tools in the kitchen. There is a very nicely designed firepit in the center of everything with chairs, side tables and she provided firewood. One of our favorite parts of this property was the indoor and outdoor shower! This would be the perfect property to visit if you are a family who has kids, there is a space on the bridge for kids to tie off floaties and the river itself is very shallow. If you have dogs, they should be on a leash since she has ducks and chickens and other farm animals. You can walk all throughout the property and find hidden game trails, beautiful oak groves, and a swimming hole a short walk from the cabin. Brenda was a very welcoming host, she mentioned that during the summer she often shares her homegrown produce with guests who stay with her! We definitely recommend staying here or at one of her other campsites on the property and we will be back!

This property is truly a gem. Gorgeous trees, lovely creek, and very well-maintained. The camp host was great and the facilities were very clean. Two drawbacks. 1) It's a bit noisy. You can hear the busy road and the neighbor's dogs bark A LOT. There was also some neighbors shooting guns throughout the weekend. All things out of the owner's control so I don't hold her accountable. 2) This listing says ADA accessible but it definitely is NOT. We knew this prior to arrival so we brought a ramp for my husband to get into the cabin and the owner also informed us upon booking that the port-a-potties weren't accessible. But, the listing should definitely be changed so that others with disabilities aren't mislead. All that said, I'd go back. My family had a great time.

"You know, I would stay there a whole year if I could. Theres a fire pit and she gave us marshmallows and some firewood.... and there's also a tiny cabin that was very fun to sleep in... and a kitchen to make lunch and dinners and there's lots of places to walk, except don't climb fences and you will know you are staying on Brendas property. You will love the world there!" -Jason, 4 years old
This was a much needed retreat for my son and I, we had such a great time and Brenda was a wonderful host!
She met us upon arrival and gave us a map and a quick run down letting us know that she does have other capsites but for our stay we had the whole place to ourselves.
The listing says no power but this is just at the cabin itself there is a covered kitchen and a secondary covered area with power so you do have power to cook meals with the provided hot plate. There is also a coffee pot, some pots, pans, untensils, a grill.
I had no cell service while there (Sprint, not surprising) this was a plus for me, no work calls intruding on my vacation....it felt great to shut off the phone and relax in nature.
The whole property is well maintained and clean. There are several nice wide trails to explore but they all loop back around to camp so no worries that you or the kids will get lost. We saw birds and rabbits while out walking and enjoyed watching her ducks swim in the creek.
My neighbor has already asked for the link to where we stayed & we will definitely be coming back again to this lovely paradise.

Brenda was so sweet and made us feel so taken care of. Her property is beautiful and the cabin was perfect. The cabin was clean and cute. We had such a great and special experience. Would highly recommend.
Brenda was an amazing host. Took the time to show our kids her lovely animal farm, and made sure we had everything we needed. Even came by to give our birthday girl a little present! Highly recommend - amazing spot with a beautiful river, outdoor/indoor showers, and a comfy small cabin (or campsites)
This was a super cute place. We had a great time here. "Camping" during the day and evening and getting to sleep in a comfortable bed with sheets at night was lovely. We brought all of our own cooking gear but forgot a few things so the communal kitchen was very helpful. Also great to have a dish washing station with readily available hot water. The shower was clean and so welcome after a day of hiking.
Only downsides (one can be fixed and one can't): Semis (and other traffic) travel the road all day and into the night. The cabin is a ways away from the road, but you can still hear it. If you are a light sleeper (as I am) this may be an issue for you. Now the fixable: the place needs curtains. The house faces east and by 6am it's very bright. Not to mention the windows face the main house and changing at night with the lantern on could be problematic.
Overall a super cute place that we would definitely recommend!
I almost don't want people to find out about this place! It's a tiny house with just a bed, no electricity but the real estate! Dear Lord! It's right next to Milk Creek, which will lull you to sleep every night. It also is so relaxing. The private land is wonderful to walk around and to look at bunnies and the neighboring alpacas:) We shared the location with another family but we were all pretty far apart. There's a kitchen area and a port-a-potty. I'm not a fan of port a potties (who is?) but it was clean. Brenda was wonderful and even gave us some of her chicken's eggs which we took home! Brenda even let us walk over to her farm and pet the momma goat and baby goats. It was a great time and highly suggest it to anyone!
Brenda's campground was fantastic!! The cabin was exactly what we were looking for, a cozy place to sleep with easy access to great outdoor activities. The added bonuses of a hot shower and a community kitchen will definitely have us coming back as soon as we're able.
Sweet spot! We loved the creek and the trees. Brenda is a great host. Really well set up for campers.
