We were a group of four adults & five kids. We all had amazing time!! Kids played in the river, explored trails and had learnt a lot about farm animals like chickens, goats and baby pigs. We will definitely come back.
Creekside camping made easy
Brenda and Tim are incredibly gracious hosts. Our kids, 2,4, and 6, had a blast visiting and petting the goats and wandering around after the chickens, ducks, and turkeys. Brenda was very attentive to details in ensuring we had a safe and comfortable stay, even brought us a thermos of hot coffee, complete w mugs, creamer, sugar, and a free dozen of fresh eggs. Rafts were handy to float the stream. Our kids are already asking to return.
Relaxing creekside family fun
Its a very nice place. The host are very friendly there place is very beautiful. Close to town but far enough for a little getaway.
The river is shallow for kids to walk and swim around and nice trails to explore.
Honestly when we first went to see the site before having our actual camping trip we thought it wouldn’t have felt at all like real camping where there was no light and or water but in the end we all had fun the kids had a great time everything went smooth I’d difinetly recommend it and would totally camp here again in the Near future.
Excellent spot for new campers!
This spot was perfect for our first camping trip. It was nice to have our hosts, the outdoor kitchen, showers and cabin as lifelines. We ended up not needing the showers or cabin but both were clean.
Beautiful property with clear, flat trails and easy creek access. Great firepit area. Our hosts even had some extra floaties they loaned us. The kids loved the farm.
We didn’t realize there was another camp site on the property, but the family there was super nice and we only saw them when it was intentional.
From our campsite (right by the covered area) you can hear road noise, but we also had great stargazing. Would definitely recommend this site for groups, families and newbie campers.
Our group of parents from the up and coming 1st grade class camped with our little kids here. Plenty of room to bike around, definitely feels safe to let your kids explore. The host is wonderfully friendly and showed us her garden, shared in her bounty, and also invited us to use her floaties and helped us tie them to the bridge so the little kids could float without them getting away. Shower is clean with nice hot water, the outdoor kitchen could serve a much larger crew! I'd stay here again.
This was an amazing space, great for a good size group (we had 11 people and had plenty of room to spread out)
The creek was amazing and the host brought us a wheelbarrow full of vegetables in the morning to go with breakfast!
