Bologna Creek Ranch
Fabulous piece of land. Beautiful, peaceful, solitude. Highly recommend this property for camping.
Host sends out directions before hand which are pretty good, but know there are two locked gates to go thru, that both have the same combo. The second gate, which is the single gate, you have to push up on the lock before pulling down. The cabins are roughly 5 miles past the second gate.
The first cabin has a small kitchen area and one double bed. The second cabin has two double beds and a bunk bed. Two out houses, with quite a view!
The cabins have a ton of potential and with just a little bit of work, I would highly recommend them, however, in their current state, I don't. There is rat (mouse?) Poop covering everything. Everything. While I understand this is a rustic experience and likely hard to avoid, if a few measures are taken, then you could come into the cabin and sweep it out and then it would be fine. Currently there is some carpet by the bed that should be removed, the mattresses need protectors/plastic coverings to be easily cleaned off, and the host's personal belongings should be put away, so you can wipe down surfaces easier. If these things are taken care of, then a quick clean on arrival, would make the cabins habitable.
As a previous reviewer noted, there is a wood fired stock tank tub, but no directions were provided, unsure how you would get water to it, and it's cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.
I hate to leave this mixed review, cause the host was really great to communicate with upfront and the property is amazing, but putting it out there in hopes that some minor improvements can make this place that much better.

Such a beautiful place with so much land to gaze at. We loved the charm of the hot tub and cabins. We will be back!
