We are Helios Farms, a family-owned small dairy and ranch located in Yoncalla (1 hour south of Eugene). We practice sustainability, regenerative farming, and permaculture on 160 acres of rolling pastures, creeks, and hills of evergreens. Here we care for our herd of Jersey dairy cows, a drove of Berkshire hogs, 10 head of cattle, and a couple hundred layer chickens.

Farm Tours at Helios Farms
working farm with stellar views
Amazing campsite atop ridge. Super views of surrounding hills and forest. Getting to this primo option required 4wd, but they had other sites that didn’t need this. A new farm worker showed our family around the next morning and my kid got a kick out of meeting the baby cows, hogs and chickens. Not recommend for meat-is-murder types. This is an active and working raw milk farm. It was an honor to spend the night here and learn a little about the animals and land.

Farm Camping Family Fun
Beautiful property with welcoming and generous hosts. We hiked the hills, and pet baby cows, horses and pigs. My family, including 2 kids (7 and 10) , also got to watch cow milking and the kids had lots of questions. The hosts were all patient and friendly so we learned a lot. It was very muddy (in April), and we weren't very prepared for that. The hosts were even kind enough to share boots. Overall it was an excellent experience.

We had a really nice stay at Best Friends Farms. Beautiful views, swimming in the pond, feeding the pigs and hanging w/the cows. Thanks for the fresh milk too!

Mushroom Valley Farm
Beautiful area with fantastic green rolling hills. The cows were so friendly and we loved interacting with them. We camped down on the pond and had a chorus of bull frogs singing all night
