Camp in a cleared area overlooking a private pond, with sunlight streaming through the old-growth pine forest.  You'll have your privacy among 3.5 acres of forest on the lot.  Walk 5 minutes to the community lakefront area (which you'll often have to yourself) and swim in Mary Lake.  Bring a canoe or kayak.  Hiking trails are connected to the property.  Perfect combination of serene wilderness, yet only 10 minute drive to downtown Huntsville for groceries.  No power or water, but strong cell service!

Note to tent campers: The site is currently best suited to RVs/trailers due to the gravel (see photos for explanation) and the fact that there's no toilet at the site.  Tent campers are welcome to book, provided you're bringing a good sleeping pad or mattress.  While there is softer ground on the property, we expect that you'll stick to the gravel area because it's the biggest, flattest, and most free of bugs.

My two friends and I just returned home after spending the weekend camping on Natalie’s gorgeous property and we had the absolute best time!!! We HIGHLY recommend booking with Natalie for many reasons...
First, the property itself is so lush and stunning. The site is very private and surrounded by big trees with a view/access to a beautiful little pond and starry skies at night. Very serene and quiet with more than enough space to set up a tent, trailer, etc. There were lots of gorgeous trails and endless natural beauty to explore :) Despite feeling so secluded and tucked away, it was only a 10 minute scenic drive into town if we ever needed to top up on groceries and we felt very safe the entire time.

Also, we were delighted by the incredible waterfront! The views across the lake were absolutely breathtaking, and the lake itself was a fantastic temperature; all of the awesome swimming was definitely a highlight of our trip! The access to the little chalet area, BBQ, and docks were such a treat and made the whole experience even better! Although the little waterfront area was technically communal for the small group of surrounding lots, it was largely unoccupied and we had the entire space mostly to ourselves! And the few neighbours we did happen to meet were so kind, helpful and welcoming; we felt like we were apart of the local community :) Both Natalie’s private property and the lakefront chalet/docks were so well-maintained and picturesque, we truly could not have asked for a better spot!

To top everything off, Natalie and her husband were the absolute best hosts we could have hoped for! From my very initial inquiry about her property, leading up to the trip and during our stay, Natalie was immensely helpful and offered us such wonderful support. She was so attentive, accommodating, and so easy to communicate with, providing very detailed descriptions, maps, and diagrams to help make our stay as comfortable and clear as possible. We had the pleasure of briefly meeting in person and Natalie and her husband are both so sweet and friendly! We had so much fun chatting with them and it is so evident how much they care about their beautiful land and about their guests! They went above and beyond to make our trip amazing and we are so, so grateful. Thank you so much! We wish could have stayed up there all summer long, and look very forward to returning super soon!
