Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
The property sits along a well maintained lazy road, There is a driveway and a cleared area for parking an RV. Directly across the road about 100 meters away from the trailer is a public sand beach. Set up shop on the beautiful sand then meander down the beach and hunt for beach glass and some other treasures that have washed ashore. The view is amazing and the water is welcoming, 7 minutes from the little local grocery store and Gas bar (and home of the best apple fritter you've ever had) 15 minutes from Pancake Pay Provincial Park 45 minutes from Sault Ste. MarieTHIS SITE ISN'T FOR EVERYONE. IT IS PERFECT FOR SOMEONE LOOKING TO PARK THEIR TRAILER FOR THE NIGHT BUT IT IS VERY RUSTIC. YOU WILL HAVE TO BRING SOME GEAR TO CLEAR OUT AN AREA FOR A TENT IN THE LATE SUMMER. DON'T LET THIS STOP YOU THOUGH BECAUSE THE PLACE IS PARADISE. Beach view with public and pretty much private access right across the quiet Road. Bring your bikes/Scooters or skateboards and enjoy checking out the cute little locally run stores along highway 563. If you have a watercraft definitely bring it and Kayak or Canoe the quiet waters of Batchawana Bay. Things aren't to busy around here but you are close to the hustle and the major attractions if you choose. Hike Lake Superior provincial park, explore the waterfalls and fall in love with the drive between Batchawana and Wawa . Hands down the most scenic tour in Ontario .

Amazing views of Batchawana Bay and just what I needed for a one night pit stop! So close to the water it was easy to go for a dip and then listen to it all night long.

A quiet spot to sleep with amazing access to the beach. Might be a bit rustic for some, but we liked it. Bringing our canoe next time.

Serene Vacation
Staying at Shaunas place was wonderful! She was very kind and reached out so we knew if we needed anything she was happy to assist. The Trailer was very tidy and so spacious - has 2 queen beds and a single. (2 bedrooms) The view is spectacular and the lake was a joy to swim in. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful Batchawana Bay
This location was absolutely ideal you could not ask for a closer or nicer beach and some beautiful and calm waters. The view from the beach was breathtaking, there are some Mountains in the distance and you can pretty much see the whole bay. We had the whole property to ourselves and it was definitely a quiet location. Finding the spot was easy , right off the road . Thanks Shauna and Matt:)

Close to the action
This location was absolutely ideal you could not ask for a closer or nicer beach and some beautiful and calm waters. The trailer had everything you need and after reading the rules for the toilet everything went smoothly. Finding the spot was easy . We had a blast at Bathtub Island and Agawa Bay and can’t wait to go back. Thanks Shauna and Matt:)
