Triple D retreat was very nice and clean. We had a great time. The owners were very helpful. We saw so many stars and the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. This will be our go to place for an escape.
We really enjoyed our time at Triple D Retreat. It is right next to the Zaleski Forest on a quiet road. The site has a great shelter, outhouse, and fire ring, grass to run around on, and has great shade from the forest at the back. We loved it and will come back again. It truly did feel like a retreat.
Idyllic little nook nestled in the hills! Not much traffic on the road, and no pesky critters either. That are so many things to do in this area, and this makes for a perfect home base you look forward to returning to! The cellular signal is spotty, but enough to make some calls and get directions. The outhouse is clean and not particularly scary. We love hearing the coyotes & owls, and our dogs were in heaven. We visited Athens, had a drink at the Smiling Skull, had lovely hike at the Moonville tunnel, and kayaked the tranquil Lake Hope. We've barely scratched the surface of all this area has to offer, and we will definitely be back!

Loved this spot! It was perfect for a little get away. Plenty of space. Had a nice night listening to music by the fire and throwing a glow-in-the-dark frisbee. Couldn’t have asked for better weather too. Overall 10/10
My group had a fantastic time at Frank's campsite! Our host was very helpful and prompt in answering any questions and arranging for firewood at the campsite. It was a great trip and we are sure to return sometime!
It really was a perfect spot. The toilet was very clean and having a the the picnic area with a roof was a extra nice touch . It had plenty of trees for hammocks . Even though it was next to a road it was very private . Excellent set up!
We had another wonderful stay at the Triple D Retreat. Very peaceful and a great location. The outhouse had some great recent improvements too. Thank you, Frank!
Perfect retreat for quiet and isolation. The space was open and the skies were clear and beautiful. The outhouse was in great condition.
