Our 3 Adirondack style shelters are available from Saturday March 31, 2018 to Sunday October 28, 2018.
Stretch out and watch the night sky in one of our 3 raised platform camping shelters. The 8'x9' open-front shelters are located in fields of pines and spruce on our 170-year-old, 5th generation Christmas tree farm. We are located right next to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and walking distance to the center of Peninsula, where you will find restaurants, shops, hike and bike trails, and much more.
The shelters are accessible by car and campers may keep their vehicle at their shelter site.
Our shelter sites can handle up to 2 adults and 2 small children in the shelter. There is room at each shelter site for a small tent . Shelter #2 even has trees to hang a hammock or two. Maximum is 4 people per shelter site. Shelter sites are $35 per night.
The cost of the tent and shelter sites include 1 box of firewood. Additional wood is available for purchase. Each shelter site has it's own fire ring.
ONLY WITH PRIOR PERMISSION from Heritage Farms, may a dog be brought on property. Dogs must be ok'd at the time of reservation. We limit the number of dogs on the property at all times.

The vibe at Shelters Under the Stars in CVNP
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Carol, the owner, was so very helpful! She had our site set up perfectly, and despite our late arrival, she made the site so easy to find! We met her the following morning and she was so sweet and made sure our stay was perfect. Very unique, peaceful setting only minutes away from Cuyahoga.
Carol the host was super helpful and accommodating. We stayed at Shelter 3 and loved the views down the hill and to the creek. The shelter was well built and extremely clean. We didn't end up sleeping in it (we pitched a tent next to it) but it was wonderful to have a sheltered spot for cooking and hanging out. The property is beautiful and very quiet at night. And it's a great location for exploring Cuyahoga National Park during the days. We had a great weekend.
A beautiful site close to everything - food, drinks, hiking and biking trails. The sounds of the birds and the views of the Christmas trees were a great backdrop. The hosts were pretty hands off but in a good way - everything was there that we needed, including the firewood they dropped off before our arrival. Very easy and very relaxing spot. 6 out of 5 stars!
Peaceful and gorgeous site right next to CVNP. Carol was a great communicator and made us feel comfortable and welcome. Restaurants/bars and a bike and snowboard shop are a short walking/biking distance away. Highly recommend for those looking to enjoy CVNP or for those just looking for a fun, beautiful campsite.
