Escape to a snug one room cabin in Ohio’s Wine Country at the woods of Sawdust FarmCamp for a glamping experience! Surrounded by the Sawdust Preserve part of the Natural History Museum of Cleveland. Creeks and valleys borders us on three sides making up the Naturals Areas Program’s 400 acres. Relax on the porch in a hammock and read from "Letters From Sawdust" by Isabell Klein; a book written about these woods from a column in the Cleveland Natural History's Explorer Magazine. Or hike in the woods around the cabin; the creek is a short walk down the hill. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit with wine from one of the local wineries.

Inside, there is an air bed on a bed frame with a memory foam topper, with extra blankets, pillows and during colder weather a down alterintive comforter. Gym mat or hammocks are available for two additional people, bring your own sleeping bags. Also a cast iron cook stove, counter, cabinets with cooking utensils, propane Colman camp stove, blue flame propane heater and if needed a cooler. We provide drinking and wash water. Padded bench, chair, stool, two folding tables and two folding chairs with more pillows. We have a collection of books for all ages and interests along with games as well as art supplies and toys.

Outside a cafe table with chairs and hammock hooks on the covered porch, fire pit, picnic bench, and an Amish out-house. During temperatures above 40 an outdoor propane heated shower is located at the back of the cabin. Inside and outside solar lights with USB charging. Firewood and fire starting materials. Cabin fits 4 guests snugly with plenty of room outside to to set up your own camping gear for 4 additional guests.

We love to meet our guests whenever possible. Gated private gravel drive off main road just south of the listing address. Park in the clearing just before the cabin path. Cabin has lock box for easy guest check in. The cabin is set back from the gravel road about 1/4 mile and a 5 min walk from our house. Pond by the house is available for boating. Nearest neighbors are on the other side of our house about 1/4 mile and about a mile the other direction. We have some new neighbors building a house across the street also set back from the road in the woods.

Short drive to Thompson Ledges for some great rock formations, Thompson Speed Way; Geneva is 15 min, Geneva-on-the-Lake is 25 min. Closest wineries are Debonne and Grand River and many others at about 3.5 miles. Also a dinner on Thompson Square near the Ledges called Stockers on the Park (cash only).

Adrienne and Morgan's cabin is wonderful. They have thoughtfully considered every detail. The hammock hooks in the cabin were so fun. The property is absolutely gorgeous and a very special place. Tons of rare plants and a wonderful trail that leads right down to the creek. The cabin is secluded and private. I also appreciated their use of natural cleaners and essential oil blends to deter bugs in the outhouse. We will definitely be back!

The location was fantastic, very private on 500 acres and the cabin was clean and big enough for four people. They provided us with firewood and greeted us as well provided us with hiking information and suggested trails.

The Rustic Moonshine Cabin was absolutely idyllic! Set deep back in the woods, it is very private and serene, and the perfect place to get away. We were fortunate enough to take advantage of the “glamping package” and had everything we needed. The cabin was quaint and clean, and had lots of windows to keep it cool in the summer. The wood stove would be perfect for an autumn or winter adventure. The property is beautiful and has trails for hiking and exploring. There is also a short walk to the creek and our dog loved it, too. We look forward to making another trip soon.

This was a wonderful camp with wonderful hosts. A relaxing home away from home. Adrienne and Morgan go above and beyond to make sure you have anything and everything you could need and were great at educating me about the environment. Thank you for the wonderful weekend!
