Quiet stay in the woods
Site was very private and provided what I wanted for the experience. Upon arrival I needed to rake the area because there was a lot of broken beer bottles in the campsite. After cleaning up the spot though it was a very nice stay. There was plenty of wood to burn in the area and the creek was cute as well. Host was nice and quick to respond to text messages!
The site was so lovely! Sweet and private, and very welcoming. It felt tucked away and remote, even though actually quite a short drive from the barn and the road. We had a wonderful stay at this primitive site, and it was super easy to find good ground for pitching the tent and preparing meals. Sarah was a wonderful, communicative host, and when we needed a little extra help finding our way to the site on arrival, she responded to my texts right away. The whole check in/check out experience was totally no fuss-no muss, which made everything feel thoughtful and convenient. Would definitely recommend this site to a friend.
Site is set in a beautiful location at the corner of a field. Was very secluded and private. As some have said before there is a problem with a lot of broken glass all around the site. But other than that that the host and her daughter were very friendly and accommodating.
Sarah gave us such a warm welcome and showed us back to the site when we arrived, which is behind the rows of crops on the property. The site itself was well-maintained and offered a fire pit, table, a few chairs and even tools to forge for and cut firewood (there's tons in the trees nearby). Sarah even got us started with a pile of kindling before we arrived. This listing does advertise potable drinking water, which turned out not to be the case, but Sarah offered us drinking water from her property. Would absolutely recommend this site for its privacy, maintenance and great host.
Sarah is super nice and prompt with answering questions. The site is very secluded and pretty. There is some poison ivy, but the main camp site is grass. Overall a great place for a quiet, relaxing camping experience
