The site we were on was perfect! I feel I would have had a different experience if anyone else were there because the site next to us was super close. Nice gravel pad and a huge stone fire pit! The pond is beautiful! This is near farm land and you will catch a wiff of cows now and then but nothing that ruined our trip! Would recommend!
Peaceful and serene
Very peaceful. It's a beautiful property and very pristine. We took our new RV here on our maiden voyage. We utilized the hiking trails and walked around the pond. Was a great first outing!
Wonderful camping spot!
Crooked Creek was beautiful. It was our first ever Hipcamp experience, and We are very pleased. The site was clean, prepared, and easily accessible. My family hiked through the woods and traveled the little stream, which made the stay feel adventurous. Fishing was great. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and helped us feel welcome from the very start...God bless them. My family had a blast, and much relaxation. Highly recommended.
Very friendly host. Great campsites. Especially since we had two campers. They also have a guesthouse and a fantastic pool. 2 miles of hiking trails and a creek to play in. Kayaking on the pond was fun too. Thanks for a great weekend!
Gorgeous campsite, perfect weekend!
This was our first time on hipcamp and our first camping trip with our travel trailer. So, I guess you could say this was an important trip for us. For full context this included myself, my wife and 8 yr. old daughter. And our neighbors joined us in the other site. Overall, I can't say enough how wonderful our experience was! For our first trip out, it was perfect. I will admit there could be better signage on the road as it is easy to miss and Google maps does not pinpoint exactly on the road to pull in. So just fyi, be on the lookout for the address. But once you do pull in, you will be greeted by a gorgeous, well-manicured property from front-to-back. There are two camp sites backed into the woods, with plenty of privacy and space to back into. All hookups worked great, nice fire pit, plenty of seating/benches and you're right next to a 2.5 mile trail that you can bike, hike or walk alongside the Crooked Creek where this property gets its name. There is great playground for kids (my daughter loved it), a large pond for fishing and canoeing and everything was provided, poles, boats, life jackets, etc. There is also an amazing underground pool with a water slide, basketball hoop and more. Chlorine based to kill any germs/viruses and pool-side tables and chairs were placed to social distance with plenty of sanitizer by the pool. To top it all off the owners of this property are the best! Kind, generous and helpful. They truly opened their property so people could have a nice private time. And that's exactly what we did. One note, there is a guest house on the property that also gets rented out through airbnb but there is plenty of space to spread out, have fun, relax and enjoy the outdoors. We would highly recommend this place and will be back again many times in the future. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.
We had a wonderful time camping at Crooked Creek! Bob was so welcoming and helpful. The grounds are immaculate and had a great time swimming, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and enjoying the peace and quiet! We will definitely be back!
