When camping on the land, you may choose from a variety of sites in which to camp -- in a field with native bobolinks nesting nearby, in the forest near a bubbling stream, under a sycamore tree grove, or on the "rose field". Each site has varying levels of privacy, but you are also welcome to set up a "primitive campsite" anywhere on the land.
This listing is to camp wherever makes the most sense to you on our property. You can come to see the spaces and decide when you get here.
All campers have access to a port-a-potty.
Our farm is 2 miles outside of Chardon, OH and therefore there is easy access to amenities, restaurants, and a number of outdoor activities, including hiking on site as well as cycling and cross country skiing nearby.

Renew your soul
Our group Of 6 had an incredible stay at Resilient Acres! Christine and Michael were the perfect hosts creating a peaceful and welcoming environment.
We stayed in the Sycamore Grove which offered everything we needed. A short walk from the cars, nearby bathrooms, privacy, a fire ring, hiking trails, sun, shade, and gorgeous views.
Resilient Acres is a magical place with a rich history that will renew your soul. It’s the perfect blend of farm and forest. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
The property is lovely and has a lot of character. Michael was a great host, but there was some confusion over already booked sites. We were asked to move initially because someone had booked the location we were setting up, but it wasn’t a big deal. We moved to the neighboring campsite which we were told would not be an issue but in the morning around 9am were told we needed to move again by 10am... because the group would need that space too for their yoga event. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience since we only stayed one night, but I felt a bit rushed with cleaning up. I also was a bit annoyed because I made sure to ask before moving to the neighboring site if it would be an issue. Michael is very kind and the land is pretty I would just be aware the open camp option could create some confusion.
I loved the whole farm. The atmosphere was very calming. We were far enough away from others that we felt secluded, but not so much that we felt isolated. The host was also very nice, and check-in and out was easy. Definitely recommend!
