When camping on the land, you may choose from a variety of sites in which to camp -- in a field with native bobolinks nesting nearby, in the forest near a bubbling stream, under a sycamore tree grove, or on the "rose field". Each site has varying levels of privacy, but you are also welcome to set up a "primitive campsite" anywhere on the land.
This listing is for the forest stream site. This site is located approximately 1/4-1/2 mile from the parking lot and over mixed terrain. Although we try to keep poison ivy off of the main trail, it does exist in our woods. There is a fire ring available. You will have to pack in your own water.
All campers have access to a port-a-potty and trash/recycling cans.
Our farm is 2 miles outside of Chardon, OH and therefore there is easy access to amenities, restaurants, and a number of outdoor activities, including hiking on site as well as cycling and cross country skiing nearby.

The campsite was beautiful and peaceful. The sound of the stream was perfect to fall asleep to. There are so many incredible trails to hike and leaving the campsite we felt refreshed and relaxed. Michael was very helpful and kind. He was a great host and the facilities were very clean. Michael also made sure every guest had their own space and privacy, which added to the peacefulness of our stay. If you're looking for a primitive and peaceful place to stay this is perfect for you! We hope to stay again in the future!
Peaceful & pretty
Hosts were personable and helpful. The location was lovely and safe. Portable toilet was exceptionally clean and well-stocked with masks, wipes, tp. The fireflies put on a light show like I have never seen! We are very glad we stayed there and will return when we can.
Resilent farms is a great sight with several options for sights.
The folks working the farm are friendly and helpful as well as Micheal is very easy to work with and made the process easy even during a pandemic.
Relaxing creek side site
Beautiful camp site! Very private- hike to site- (maybe about a 1/2 mile hike from parking area). Right next to a creek with the perfect trees set up for our hammocks. The fire ring was big which was an unexpected bonus. Michael was so helpful and nice! When we got confused on the directions he met us in the parking lot and personally showed us to the site. Wish we could’ve stayed longer would definitely recommend!
Forest site better than expected
The forest camp site was better than we even expected. It was a lovely hike to get to the site (and Michael let us borrow a wheel barrel to carry our things). We were totally surrounded by nature and the campsite was perfect. Michael went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back!
