The Smokehouse
Great for families!
We had a great time at the Smokehouse! The hosts were super friendly, hospice and accommodating. It was pleasure to get to know them and their families. The cabin was clean, cozy and warm. Several trees perfect for hammocking just outside and by the fire pit. The pavilion was a great and quaint spot for playing games and eating when it was raining. We didn’t use the outdoor shower, but the outdoor sink had hot and cold water and the porta John was well maintained. The hiking trails were beautiful—the one around the corn fields to the left of the cabin provides a gorgeous view of the surrounding area. There is an old school turned store down the road. We picked up some ice, but noted there that it is also a pizza shop. The lady present raved about the pies, but having our food already planned out we didn’t grab any. In sum, the Smokehouse property is great for families. Great cabin, great amenities, great land with hiking, animals, etc. and most of all great people! Enjoy!

Pleasant Valley Farm Camp
Loved it!
Super quiet. Host was excellent. Wish the weather had been better for us, because we only got to explore a small part of the farm. Would definitely consider staying again. Hot water and a sink in the pavilion was a nice touch - anything that makes the dishes easier! Thank you!

Site 1 / Walnut Grove
Lovely quiet camping spot, nestled in the trees, with plenty of firewood and not far from amenities. Easy to get to and to park. Welcoming hosts and lots of trails to walk through trees and around the fields of corn.

Site 2 / Peaceful Stream
So quiet and beautiful. The check in provided just the right amount of details, and the hosts were very welcome but not intrusive. We loved the privacy at each campsite, being immersed in the woods, and still having the option of using the portajohn. The pavilion was just right for community if you wanted it, but functionalism if that's all you needed. The hot and cold running water with deep sink was so useful for dishes and hand washing. The trails definitely had elevation challenges which was welcome. The portajohn was cleaned and trash cans at that pavilion were emptied without a trace. It was peaceful and restful here.
