Guided hike to 2 caves and a waterfall which are not on my property
Trails in the woods may not have enough head room, but the open fields are available.
I only own a small section of cliff. The rest goes back toward the caves.
Natural features you'll find at Nature's Way in Ohio.
Short hike to see 2 caves and waterfall, as this is not on my property, I will guide you.

Great location- hot spot for hh
Jim, our host, was more than accomodating to our family when staying for an overnight during Hippie Fest 2019 this August.
Firstly, we arrived later than anticipated, and he was only helpful- lighting a small flame at the end of the drive so we could see where to pull in in the dark, starting our campfire before we arrived, and even setting up camp with my husband when we got there. Note: if youre missing poles or stakes, he has those handy for borrow too!
While I settled our kids down and got some food started over the oversized fire grate- Jim offered a hand in anything my husband needed.
When all was finished and the kids were fed and snuggled into the tent, we enjoyed conversation around the fire (drum circle friendly), after Jim had offered to either stay or leave us some privacy. He shared stories about the property and his work on it, his hopes for future development of it as a growing campsite in the perfect Hocking Hills location (especially for Hippie Fest), and some appreciated insight on living the simple life. We especially loved talking about natural lifestyle and independence/sovereignty. Jims company was welcomed until nearly 4am- when we decided to finally settle in for the night.
The natural sounds and stars were a nice experience away from our normal near-city residence and felt like a serene escape. We slept well on the area that had been smoothed out for sleeping- even without air mattresses!
In the morning light, we noticed more detajls about the property. It needed some more work- as Jim had described in detail the night before when he expressed all of his unique ideas to us. We noticed that there were about five spaces between tree pairings that would be amazing for setting up some hammocks- esepcially fitting for kids near the fire but far enough away for parents to converse by the fire. We noticed the authentic tree swing in all its glory of the morning sun. We noticed some of the sore eye spots on the property that needed moved out- but overlooked this given Jims own feelings and list of things he wanted to get done. After such a late night enjoying our time, we regret that we didnt have enough time to visit the nearby cave (not just an overhang!) and outdoor gravity shower- two more true touches to the space, I assume.
After packing up, when my husband and I had been gathering and collecting things all morning, we sat down to eat breakfast (stovetop available also on the propane grill for cooking in a pot or pan). The kids had already eaten and were enjoying running around, digging, swinging and checking out bugs, so we sat together. Jim caught conversation with our twoo older kids and it was a nice break for us he may not have understood- it occupied them long enough for us to take a breath and enjoy food together!
Upon our leave, Jim was professional and thoughtful in his invitation for us to return. We plan to stay again in the Fall to explore anything we missed nearby and on his property.
Jim’s place was awesome! The landscape was well taken care of and beautiful. Butterflies and active nature all around (I can see why he named it Natures Way). Even the outside bathroom was nice with a cobblestone floor. Jim goes out of his way to show you the area, make you comfortable and safe, and keeps a fire lit for you through your stay. He even made us pizza on the grill! This is great for two people or big groups. We tucked this away as one of our favorite spots and will be back forsure!
