My fiance and I had an amazing experience here. We were greeted at the front of the property by the hosts and given a tour of the property. We were informed that we were the first guests to stay in the Cabin (proud to be pioneers)! Honestly surprised that we were the first, everything was very well put together and thought through. There were two sleeping areas, a coffee maker, composting toilet, sink setup, convection oven, and more! We spent most of our night at the tiki bar - cooking out and enjoying the dock and campfire! It was so much more than we were expecting! We would gladly stay here anytime we travel through the area! Thanks again, Mike and Valerie!
What a wonderful weekend getaway! The property and the cabin were gorgeous and Mike and Valarie could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. It was actually hard to pick a spot to relax because there were so many to choose from! We slept in the sleeping loft but the couch also folds out of you don't want to climb up. The composting toilet was easy and the I loved the outside shower. My husband caught a bass in the stocked pond (threw back, so he's still there). I loved watching the sunset from on top of the hill. The first night there were 2 big deer right behind us, and the second night a heron landed in front of us. All in all, a wonderful, peaceful place to stay.
