We have a unique property with a great view of Caesars Creek State Park (teriffic hiking trails).  Our property sits above the little Miami river where you can kayak,  ride your bikes on the bike trail or just walk around historic Waynesville.  If you are coming for the  Ohio Renaissance Festival, it is just minutes from our place. And if the Sauerkraut festival in the fall is more your thing, then stay with us and we will be happy to shuttle you to town, so you don't have to worry about parking!

At the bottom of the ridge is the Warren County Observatory at Hisey Park that you can contact prior to your visit and schedule a look through their telescope, or bring your own because the light pollution is low, people like to lay under the stars at the ridge and check out the meteor showers or the stars.

Campers have enjoyed being either private down in the trees or gathering with others up near the barn where they can play music, cook and gather under the front porch of Bowman Lodge.  You can fish (catch & release), hike, sit by the fire at night (yes,we have the gear for S'mores or hot dogs), sit in the swinging chair and read a book, BBQ or just hang out by your tent.   We don't open our place to more than 2 campers per day, so you don't have to worry about elbow room at the ridge, be social or be private, it is a judgement free zone :).

SUCH AN AMAZING TIME! We will definitely be back. Clean facility, quiet private spots, but also an opportunity to get to know some of the other campers! We loved our hosts and had an excellent time.

My husband and I decided to go on a last minute get away with our two children....this was our first hipcamp experience and it was really amazing. Mamie, her family, and their sweet dogs all welcomed us with open arms, gave us access to bathrooms, warm showers and a beautiful view over the ridge. We also met another amazing family on our visit who inspired us with their incredible stories,...thank you so much! We look forward to seeing all of you again! Much love ❤️

We had a good time the two nights we spent at Mamie's property. We were able to choose a private area to pitch our tent and they provided a nice fire pit for us to cook over an open fire. We got that part of the primitive camping experience that we enjoy and on the flip side we also could walk a short distance to use an outdoor shower with hot water and a clean restroom. We loved the stocked pond and wished we had brought more bait. The misty sunrises were beautiful and Mamie and her family were very welcoming and friendly.

OMG! Mamie and her family were wonderful, especially their 3 dogs! R&R Ridge is such a sweet set up - the property is vast and beautiful, there is so much to see and do. And it’s close enough to a city if you want to wander that way.

The outdoor shower was maybe our favorite thing, we got to shower in the sun and fresh air! There was plenty of space on the barn patio for us to cook, work, and relax. You can park almost anywhere, we stayed closer to the barn so we could work with great WiFi during the day, but you can go closer to the edge of the property for a more isolated camping experience.

As I mentioned they have 3 dogs, which was perfect for our dog! They ran around like crazy and all entertained each other. It was great to have the space and ability to allow our dog to run and get tired out before our next long drive.

Thank you Mamie and family, we will see you again!

This was one of our best HipCamp experiences we’ve ever had. The land itself is stunning, featuring great stargazing, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises, and sprawling landscapes with trails throughout. The central barn proved to be a fabulous hub and was was filled with fun surprises including a working carousel! The kids spent hours exploring the land and falling in love with the dogs. The heart of what makes this place so special are the gracious hosts who bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable without overdoing it. You can have as much privacy or contact as you want. Only 45 minutes from Cincinnati, this was the perfect easy getaway, allowing us to recharge and return home with little hassle. We will definitely return.

We had such a wonderful time at R&R Ridge. The hosts (and their sweet dogs) are warm and friendly, and their land is beautifully kept with gorgeous vistas—the perfect setup for stargazing and s’mores. We had fun exploring the “barn” and appreciated the amenities it provided (bathrooms, shower, kitchen, and comfy lounging space). Would definitely recommend!

Mamie and the crew (family and dogs) are so very sweet. They are out to please in whatever way they can. Went out of their way to drive my husband around on the golf cart upon arrival to pick the best location to camp. We had many options to choose from, they were all wonderful options. Beautiful cozy barn to hangout in, cozy group fire or individual fire on your site are just a few of the cool options at R&R. I'd highly recommend R&R, we can't wait to return.

This was our second visit to R&R Ranch because we loved our first visit so much. This location will not disappoint. You are welcomed as if your family visiting for the weekend. Mamie is full of knowledge about the area, she informed us of all the local events going on in town and tips about astronomy events that were taking place during our visit as well.
You will not catch a better sunset, so make sure you have your camera ready. And be sure to say hello to the coolest pups around.
