Met almost all our expectations-beautiful, private, peaceful site. Javen checked in with us to see we had all we needed. You could hear trucks on 93 during the night-otherwise, perfect!
Celesta’s Grove was in a beautiful location- quiet and serene without being too far off the beaten path. The hosts were very friendly but unobtrusive- they checked in a time or two when they saw us out during the day. The bathroom was pristine; picnic table and fire pit were in great shape. Even though we could see the road, there were very few cars and buggies going by. The surrounding farms with horses and cows, the quiet pond, and rolling fields were the perfect setting for a quiet, relaxing weekend with nature. We are already planning a return trip as soon as we can!
The campsite was beautiful and well-kept, and the port-a-john was clean & stocked! The owners were friendly and helpful. The camp is visible from the road, but far enough that you don’t hear much road noise, just the occasional buggie or tractor passing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and are already talking about when we can go back!
A lovely spot hidden in the middle of a farm. Bucolic views, lots of shade, and a porta-potty makes a great campsite. The best part for our family was listening to the birds and watching horses next door. You can hear distant traffic in the early morning but it’s not bad. A lot of traffic is horse and buggy!
Peaceful, private spot with a view!
What a peaceful spot! The shade was lovely and the views were very nice. We really enjoyed our stay! Very secluded , even though you could see the road, it didn’t bother us! we appreciated the very clean portapotty and access to a hose down the drive. The picnic table was also nice. The sunset was stunning! Javan was very responsive. Our toddler enjoyed exploring.
Quiet shady grove
This is a lovely little grove of trees at the back of a field, tucked on the corner of some other farm properties in Amish country. The site was clean and comfortable, very cool on the hot sunny days. The hosts were lovely and even brought us some fresh eggs!
Beautiful serene spot
We absolutely loved staying at Javan’s site! It was a beautiful spot, peaceful, clean, exactly what we were looking for. And we loved the fresh eggs they brought to us in the morning :) We’ll definitely be coming back!
Exceeded all of our expectations.
My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary here and had such a great weekend. The site was clean and well groomed with beautiful views all around. The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of wood to use for the fire pit. Watching the horses on the ridge and seeing the Amish buggies go up and down the road was cool. If you’re using a camper (like we did), you will probably need to come into the driveway heading west because the turn is tight from the culvert to the drive. There’s a large gravel parking lot to turn around in a hundred yards from the drive. Also, if you’re in a camper, watch the tree limbs on the way back to the sites. We really enjoyed it here and are planning to bring the kids with us next time in a month or so.
