Camping with Bison
Wonderful experience. The host Glenn greeted us warmly upon arrival. We arranged to purchase some bison burgers and firewood and ended up buying more. The site is beautiful and tranquil, the views are amazing and there is something extraordinary and humbling to camp near the bison. It is a little ironic to eat a bison burger (the best I believe I've ever had) while looking at the friends and family of your dinner. We really appreciated Glenn's attention to detail and instructions on how to navigate the entrance and what to do once we arrived.

Green Plains Bison Ranch
Beautiful property with a private campsite on a pond. Deer come through the cornfield to drink...bison roam the fenced acreage 100 yards away...close to town but far enough away for privacy. Second time here and will return! PS - bison burgers are great

Glen was helpful and friendly and justifiably proud of his innovative and successful agricultural practices. The camping was great too.

Wonderful Campsite !
We loved this site. Our host Glenn was very thoughtful. The area is just beautiful. It looks even prettier than the pictures. There is a nice gravel lane for evening strolls, and a peaceful pond. Getting to see the roaming Bison was a neat plus. There is a fire ring for cooking,, and also the host provided a cute rod iron table with cushions and a table cloth. There is one camping site which is very private, about a block down is another secluded Airbnb little cabin that another person could rent. We thought this would be great if two couples vacationed together. One at the campsite and one in the cabin. We are considering this for inlaws next time. The sites are far enough apart for privacy. The host allowed us to fill our fresh water tank with well water on the way in. My skin was very happy with well water.. We will definitely be back! We were even able to purchase some grass fed bison meat from the farm to bring home, an added benefit. There are a few caves within an hour drive nearby, Olentagy is the one we visited, and this would be great for families also. Overall a really great experience!!! Big thanks to our hosts!
