Friendly, cozy, and relaxing
Shield of Faith is a perfect slice of heaven. Meticulously cared for by two wonderful hosts, this camp site is both welcoming and picturesque. The house is set very far from the camp sites with a dividing tree line that gives you privacy and access to a serene stream and cozy under canopy. The animals are friendly and so cute! Really everything about this listing went beyond our expectations.
A great first hipcamp experience
This was my first stay using HipCamp. Had know idea how this stay would turn out, but The hosts were so nice and made us feel very welcome right when we arrived. Easy to find too with helpful signs. The site was really well kept and exceeded our expectations. Definitely will go back in the future.
This campsite was an amazing little gem, it was everything we’d hoped it’d be and more. Our hosts were exceptional and very accommodating. The animals were so cute and so fun to hang out with. The deck and pond area is beautiful and well kept. We stayed in campsite 1 and there was plenty of space to have our gear all setup and privacy in the site. There’s so much to walk around and explore and just relax in a beautiful setting. We’ve already booked a return visit!
The hosts were lovely. There was lots of space, camping area was enclosed by trees (made it feel secluded and backwoodsy) but with the perks of having electrical hookups and picnic tables and fire rings, very well kept. Lots of fun amenities- animals, pond with fish (we brought kayaks too). Highly recommend, we will stay there again.
We had a great stay at Shield of Faith farm. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and our 3 year old loved getting to pet the goats and play in the stream that ran along the edge of our campsite. Our tent space was nicely private and plenty of room away from the fire pit which was nice for our son going to bed while we were still up by the fire.
Charming camp on the farm!
Elizabeth and Bill were amazing hosts. They met us at the drive, showed us our spot and gave us a tour. My niece was thrilled with getting to meet the animals (we miss Salvation and Willis- tell them hi for us when you go). We swam, we swung, we walked the creek, we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and we rode in the pedal boat! Both other sites were booked, but we never felt crowded at all. They were so patient with my very chatty niece and went above and beyond to make sure her first camping experience was great. When we left, my niece was already making plans to go back with the whole family.
