Broadwell Hill is a 65-acre forest stewardship sanctuary in the Appalachian Ohio Hill Country Region. There are 4 miles of gently sloping trails on the upper acreage, 30 ft rock cliffs, coves, benches and riparian corridor within the lower acreage. The campsite lies within the Wayne National Forest acquisition boundaries and is surrounded by undeveloped land. The off-grid motherhouse is a place to gather, shower, wash clothes, garden, etc. There are primitive undeveloped campsites, campers and visions of small retreat cabins. We are 20 miles from Athens/Ohio University. Your visit will contribute to the forest stewardship and other social, economic and environmental efforts on behalf of future generations and all life.
