You will be surrounded by green and the spot is completely private. Directly across the road from our property (a 5 minute walk) is the Little Miami Scenic Trail, the third longest paved trail in the US (amazing for biking). The unique village of Yellow Springs is only a 5 minute drive away with a great local grocery store and several cafes. Included in this campsite is access to our 1830s spring house if you want a refreshing dip! If you would like to visit our chickens or Angie's pottery studio in the barn, just let us know and we'd love to show you around.
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: 1) We are still building a compost toilet so the option on the property now is to dig a cat hole at least 6" deep. There is an open public toilet in Yellow Springs and several businesses with open bathrooms. 2) The spring house is not secluded, you can see it from our driveway. We regularly let it drain and it fills itself up. Water level depends on rainfall. It is cold but perfect for summer! 3) The campsite is right off of Route 68. You cannot see cars from the site but you can hear them. The amount of noise from cars is very low at night. You also get to hear frogs at night and chickens in the morning. :)

Just passing through
Angie’s spot was great. Private spot nearby good local restaurants. Nice open field to camp in. They were very respectful of Covidtimes, but at the same time we felt very welcomed. Thanks Angie!
This was the perfect little spot! It was our first time camping somewhere that wasn’t a campground, and the quiet was so nice! The space was perfect and offered a fire pit for us to use. We loved only being 5 minutes away from Yellow Springs.
We had a great time at this spot. The four of us had plenty of space and the site was well kept. We were surprised by how few bug bites we got and by how many stars we could see at night. Definitely recommend!
The best stay in yellow springs!!!
The Sweet Spot in Yellow Springs is the perfect, secluded area for all of your camping needs. The views of the forested field and property were quite the site to wake up to. The camping site was quiet and safely located close to the city. The host left a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the site to welcome us. I can’t even fit into words how amazing this private spot was! There was tons of firewood and room to spread out. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
I loved staying at Sweet Spot! It was the perfect location from town - a close drive but remote enough to enjoy privacy. The camp spot was clean, easy to get to, and beautiful. I loved meeting Angie and seeing her impressive pottery studio! I would love to come back, and definitely recommend!
