Learn more about this land: Our peaceful farmstead is located on the Wild Rice River, 30 miles south of Fargo,  Our ND Century Farm is home to Crooked Lane Farm Folk School. a learning community devoted to lifelong learning. We host classes, concerts, events, and activities that encourage creativity and a chance to learn just for the sake of learning.  We offer a perfect one night stop for travelers.  While we are not a recreational campground we do encourage our guests to hike and enjoy our property.  Our rural community is home to Fort Abercrombie Historical Center and Dakota Vines Winery.

    We loved the farm style camping experience. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. My husband grew up on a farm and loved seeing all the old equipment.

    Peaceful overnight, beautiful farm
    What a wonderful place to stay for a peaceful overnight rest! We were tucked away in a quiet part of the farm, private but still easy to get our camper into. We had a lovely view of the woods and fields. The farm itself is beautiful and has a rich family history. Mary Jo and her husband are very friendly and have great stories about the land and buildings. Our water & electric hookups worked well and we were delighted with the added surprise of a hot shower and bathroom in the main barn! We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

    Sweet and quiet farm in ND
    Mary Jo and Brent are the kindest people! They made us feel right at home. Fargo is a short drive away, but nighttime on the farm is quiet and peaceful. You can really have the best of both worlds here.

    A farm with loads of charm!
    Lovely farm with lots of charm! The host, Mary Jo and her husband Brent couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. They do weddings so they have many tabes and chairs which campers can use. Also bathrooms and shower etc...

    Very pleasant overnight experience
    What a wonderful place to stay. The facilities were cleaner and more organized than most formal campgrounds we camped in this summer. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. It was a very pleasant overnight experience.
