Relax on a five acre lot which includes our home. Sleep in the trees in a bed that conjures up rustic elegance. Fine bedding with mosquito netting encloses you in a cocoon of luxury as the sound of nature lulls you to sleep. Nature includes the sounds of the country--frogs, katydids, crowing roosters in the morning, our family’s dogs, etc. (The dogs can be noisy but they will always be on a leash or in the house or on the patio. However, our cat may try to make friends with you but your treehouse screen door will keep him at bay, if you wish.) Sit on the deck, watch lightning bugs, listen to the crickets, and reconnect with your significant other or with nature. Battery powered string lighting, lanterns, candles, flashlights, and a fan add to the ambiance and to your comfort. One electrical outlet and WiFi allow you to use your smartphone while in the treehouse. Before you leave, please use a provided pen to autograph and date a wall in the treehouse.

After a night in the treehouse, you may find you need to reconnect with the world, if so, walk 50 yards to the pool house where you have access to a full bathroom which includes a shower and an outdoor kitchenette that has a refrigerator, coffeemaker, hotplate, and microwave. Enjoy the pool in season. Coffee, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided.

We had the most awesome experience at the Western NC Treehouse! Wanda & her family were so sweet and accommodating. The treehouse and poolhouse were both fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. We felt safe and right at home. I highly recommend this location for anyone traveling to or through the area.
