We had an amazing weekend! Our host was GREAT! I could not have asked for a better host! I will say that you should definitely check out the yurts! They are extremely nice! It is great to have a.c. when it is hot!!!! The pond was fantastic, me and my family caught a lot of nice size bass! We did throw them all back as we were not going to eat them. This is a fairly new place so they are still putting in new things and coming up with new ideas for different things! The outside shower is a very neat thing! There is also an indoor shower that was great! The trailer has ac and heat! You must also check out the sauna it was so cool. I loved it!!! I highly recommend going and checking out this place! We can not wait to go back! Thank you for having us!
A real find, pleasantly remote:, very quiet.
Bathroom showers very clean they have a sauna gazebos on the lake And saw dear driving in.
The Yurts look great! (ATT cell signal was very strong:)
We were happily welcomed upon arrival and shown around the camp site. The camp site was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and hope to book a return trip very soon. Having electricity, bathrooms, showers, ice maker and trash cans made our stay extremely comfortable and easy.
I really appreciated the communication with Tom in a timely fashion. We arrived after hours and he graciously left the lights on for us. The showers were fantastic! Great water pressure and nice hot water! It's a shame we didn't have time to take advantage of the property to it's fullest, hoping to return.
A new favorite spot
I'm so excited to have found this hidden gem in Raleigh and definitely plan to return! The host Tom was so welcoming and timely in his communications. Driving onto the property itself is a treat as its set way back on a farm. For us, it was the perfect balance of feeling remote (more so than at a traditional campground), but having all the amenities we would need to be comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the pond with our dog and spent quite a bit of time fishing. We brought our pop up camper which worked out really well, but also got a chance to see inside the yurts and those were beautiful as well. Thanks for a great stay!
