This campground is great, the hosts are wonderful and friendly. Good fishing pond & disc golf course. We will be coming back again and again. Everyone at Hipcamp is very professional and easy to work with. They will respond to your questions, help with changes to your reservation and make sure everything is good.

This was a neat property, and we would definitely go back. The pond was the highlight for us. We fished multiple times and always caught something - Bream, catfish and bass. We also took the our own raft and paddle board out, and went swimming from them in the middle of the pond where it was deeper. The Yurt was a nice retreat from the hot day with A/C, and the bathroom trailer with 2 full bathrooms was clean and cool, too. If you are looking for privacy, Yurt #1 may be a good choice as #2 and #3 are right next to each other. Yurt #3 is a better choice between them if you want to spend anytime outside at the campfire or grill. There is a nice grassy area behind it with a view of the pond. Yurt #2 doesn't have much of an outdoor area. All 3 Yurts are in the sun with no tree cover. But there are a few Gazebos around with lights and fans and tables that are nice to picnic in. You can walk around the entire pond on a trail that also is the Frisbee golf course. Bring your own Frisbees though. The owners were super nice and very responsive. They are just a text away if you have any questions. I think they truly want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you want more information go to This has a lot more than the Hipcamp site. If you are wondering how you would be cooking food, like I was - there is a microwave in the Yurt, there is a charcoal grill (like at State Parks) near the Yurt, and there is a fire pit, but there is no grate on it, so only skewers work with the fire. Bring your own charcoal and firewood. The refrigerator in the Yurt and the ice machine on the property make it easy to keep any food cold until you are ready to cook it. This is a fun place to visit and I would definitely recommend!

This is an amazing place that is no longer a secret. With all the places to explore at Walnut Hill, TLC next door, The Neuse a mile south, a lake to play around on, disc golf, and dogs romping around (there are off-leash pups so beware), it is a true adventure just minutes from downtown Raleigh, Clayton, and Knightdale. Oh, and we bikepacked in from downtown Raleigh, a 20-mile ride you can do with only 3/4 mile on road...the rest is all greenway and trail.

This was a quick get away for my boys and myself. We were able to hike, fish, row and sit by a camp fire and have smores. The yert was more than I expected. The bath house was super clean and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone else.

This amazing campground totally blew us away! Hard work has gone into creating a perfect campsite for all levels of camping, from rustic tent camping and RV hookups to glampsites with yurts and a beautifully built tiny house. There is a stunning pond that's easily accessible for the community of campers to use, as well as beautiful gazebos and amenities such as a ice machine, bathrooms, showers, and even a beautiful sauna (which is currently closed due to covid). We enjoyed a peaceful evening catching fish off the dock and cooking dinner over our private fire pit. The yurt we stayed in was heated and had a wonderfully comfy bed.
No matter what type of camping you're looking for, this stunning campsite has you covered!

The dock is a short walk over from the yurt we stayed inNothing beats campfire cooked dinners! 20 foot Yurt in Raleigh/2The outside of the yurt had a picnic table and a fire ring
