You may park anywhere you like in the vicinity of the barn, however, the 50A power is on the south wall of the barn...if power is desired. Water is available for filling tanks only....very high pressure--not recommended for hookup. There is a dump available. Driveway leads to a turn-around and makes access to the parking place easy. For short stays it would be possible to come and park without unhooking tow vehicle or dinghy. This is a rural setting (pasture across the road). Grocery stores and Walmart etc are about 5 miles. Churches abound....Great local BBQ!!! Typical Southern Town about 10 miles off I-85.Local (within 50 miles) points of interest include: The Earl Scruggs Museum (Bluegrass fans delight!!), Tryon Equestrian Center, The Billy Graham Library, The Nascar Museum, Charlotte Motor Speedway, The BMW plant (great tour) Chimney Rock & Lake Lure, Lake James, Lake Norman. Moss Lake, Kings Mountain National & State Park, Freightliner Service Center (Gaffney), Shelby is host to the American Legion World Series-great baseball- in August. And don't miss the Livermush Expo! Everyone's favorite biggie!!! We are avid travelers ourselves, so there will be times when our place will not be available.
