Once a three car garage now converted into a working artists studio, this property is a creative and peaceful home. The owner, a former contractor and artist Martha McKinley Murphy and Shane have changed this into a place where sculpture, art and harmony blend into a haven and retreat enjoyed by many. Learn more about this land: Our four acres is an open view for the wonders of star gazing. Come enjoy a place where the artist in all of us can be peacefully camping or take a drive less than 4.5 miles away to Ocean Isle Beach. Be a shell collector or enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking or canoeing at some very close places to enjoy the waters. A screened outdoor living room overlooks our half acre pond with a wooded backdrop. Under our giant magnolia tree, one can see gorgeous sunsets and enjoy a picnic dinner. Our private outdoor shower is spacious and is next door to an outdoor kitchen. Campers can enjoy our raised bed garden areas when in season or collect organic eggs from our free range hens. Star Fall Station

I had a great time camping on Martha's land. She and Shane were thoughtful and friendly, and I enjoyed chatting with them. The amenities Martha offers are excellent, and as an artist, she has added a creative touch that made them really stand out. I am traveling in a small camper, so I really enjoyed the screened area with a comfy sectional couch. I also took advantage of the gas grill for dinner. There are also seating areas surrounding a cute pond with lots of turtles and some big fish. Martha's land is very close to the beach, but I spent much of my time relaxing on her property. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return sometime!

Art Studio Beach Camping

The land here is truly beautiful, meticulously maintained, safe, and serene. One of its standout features is the tranquil pond adorned with water lilies, frequented by ducks and geese, accompanied by a charming trail for leisurely strolls. Despite the distant hum of traffic, the allure of these highlights far surpasses any minor inconvenience. Plus, its proximity to the beaches makes it an ideal home base. Although Martha was away during our stay, Shane proved to be an exceptional host. I wholeheartedly recommend this place without hesitation.

Special Place, Wonderful Host!

I absolutely loved staying at Fall Star Station! Martha and James were the best hosts. This is a must stay for art and nature lovers. Just a quick drive to the beach and close to everything you need. Both the magnolia tree and pond were super relaxing and healing. It was like a piece of mountain land at the beach. I look forward to returning for another stay as soon as possible.

Star Fall Station

Martha and Shane are amazing hosts and the property (and Magnolia tree) are incredible! We came with 3 boys (5, 10, 12) and they all had a great time. Older boys loved to kayak on the pond and simultaneously feed the ducks. Close to several beaches and conveniences if needed. Highly recommended!!

Star Fall Station

We have to say Martha’s Magnolia Tree is pretty awesome! It was a cool experience to camp under its shelter. Nice that we could move the tent to other spots and enjoy the starry night sky as well. Cool outdoor shower was refreshing in the hot August temperatures. 😊 Would like to try in the fall sometime to make use of the other amenities like having a 🔥 campfire. Shane and Martha are friendly and welcoming hosts. All in all it’s a 10!

Star Fall Station

Star Fall Station was a dang blast! We were here during the hostile hot late August but boy did the massive magnolia tree make it bearable and the most magical. Martha and Shane are the most excellent of hosts. I left a pair of my beloved chacos behind and they went above and beyond and mailed them for me. Highly recommend their property. The outdoor shower was just stellar. 5 ⭐️’s!
