Martha and Shane were open, friendly, and the most gracious hosts. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable on our weekend trip to Oak Island. Their land is beautiful and the animals on it make the stay even better. Ocean Isle Beach is only a 10 minute drive which is an added bonus. One of the most beautiful night skies we’ve ever seen. THANK YOU!

Martha and Shane were VERY pleasant people! They welcomed us with open arms, as late as we arrived. Would definitely stay with them again!

Martha and Shane were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us excellent recommendations on where to eat and where to go for the best beach spots - which was less than 5 minutes away. Star Fall Station was very idyllic, and our campsite was private, secure, and well-stocked with firewood. As an added bonus, Martha and Shane make some really beautiful art on-site. I got a really cool metal octopus fridge magnet as a souvenir. Thanks so much for your hospitality, Martha and Shane!

Oh my goodness ! What a wonderful stay . Site was private. Close to beach. Martha and Shane were both like old friends. So thoughtful and friendly. They even loaned us a tent when we had an equipment fail. Took us to a spot to kayak. The art gallery was another added pleasure. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

Martha and Shane were gracious hosts with your comfort and privacy in mind. We found this spot after finding out most of the other campgrounds were booked and we're really grateful and happy we did because we felt we had a much more personable, fun and interesting experience. We enjoyed the pond, the swinging bench underneath the beautiful magnolia tree, and our interactions with the hosts. They have 3 beautiful dogs as well as free range chickens and ducks too that are a plus. They obviously put a lot of care into the detail of your experience.

Thank you so much Martha and Shane!

Okay guys, settle back. This place is amazing. Three miles from being on the beach, two miles (maybe less) from the nearest grocery store.
This site was a much needed reprieve from the crowded touristic areas everywhere near here. I'm actually a local in the area, an avid camper that was looking for a place close to home where I could "get away from it all" even during the season.
This place was more than I could have ever hoped for, I'm so happy to have found a place where you can camp and not see thirty other people on your way to the restroom.
Come on down feed the turtles (they love a handful of dry doggie pellets), they're wonderful to watch as you wind back to enjoy a rare moment of peace.

Martha and Shane are both friendly and helpful. We were able to stay under the magnolia tree which I highly recommend. It was cooler and private. The pond, garden and screened area are lovely bonuses. The outdoor shower was nice too. They had chickens and ducks roaming free. On top of it all we were given an artistic gift as we were leaving. Highly recommend this stay.

Great hosts. Beautiful site under a majestic magnolia. Had a last-minute change with dates we would be staying. The hosts were very accommodating.. Post offered one of two sites. Selected under magnolia with a great porch style swing under a majestic magnolia. Quiet spot that is close to the beach and local dining. We will definitely request to stay again next time we’re in the area.
