Beside it being the perfect spot to recharge yourself from all the stress of the everyday life. i really love how with just a small donation to host you can harvest anything that is ready in the farm, there's a perfect lil hiking trail just around the corner which i truly enjoyed its the perfect spot for a lil morning or afternoon hike.
Sparkroot is a place beyond words, nestled in hills, trees, wild things, and good people. To rest here is to lay your head amongst magic. To eat at this table is to taste what deep caring is. To speak with Alicia is to hear what sacrifice and duty can create. And to witness and work for a moment in their gardens is to feel what a village might be.
Alisa is such a kind host and very hospitable. There is a designated camping area right by the main house that is clearly marked with the bathroom/shower/check-in area nearby. It's a simple site for you to get away and enjoy being in nature with thoughtful touches in the common areas to help your stay be more comfortable. As a solo female camper, I felt very safe. Thank you, Alisa!
Thanks to Alisa for allowing us to stay at her camping site in Sparkroot farm. Camp sites are fine and the fact that they are next to each other didn't bother us because we were the only ones camping. They have a nice concept going on and it was nice to see her vegetable garden and interact with the goats. The site allows for walks within the property and the private roads of neighboring farms. This was a good but short getaway from the city. Nice fire pit!
