My boyfriend and I stayed at Michele’s site on a late summer camping trip. Her site sounded fun and unique with the farm setting and super ideal with the option for power, water and an available bathroom with shower. Michele’s site was amazing! We had the pick of several sites but due to our late arrival (which our host made no fuss about!) we chose an easy location right by the farm, under a big shady tree. The horses, goats, dogs and other critters were a riot and really fun to have around. Michele made sure we were as comfortable as possible with a power source (we had a fan in the tent! Nearly glamping), a clean bathroom with shower essentials, and even brought us coffee and breakfast in the morning. Our only regret is we wish we could have stayed longer and maybe gone for a trail ride. Would definitely camp here again!
By far one of the best campsites we’ve ever been to! Michele was awesome and showed us all around her farm and let us choose wherein we wanted to put up our tent. We brought our one year old who loved getting to meet all the goats and horses (and Rico the donkey...) as did we! It was beautiful, and they had a shower and bathroom available in the barn for us to use as well as a grill. We will definitely be back the next time we find ourselves in NC. 😄
Michele's place was great! She and her family were wonderful hosts and gave us the run of the entire farm. Her animals are all very good with people and our two young boys had a great time with the goats, alpacas, horses and chickens. The facilities were great and Michele even provided a few things we were short on during our stay. We had farm fresh eggs and goat's milk for breakfast!
