Randy was a lovely host & provided a wonderful area for my friends & I to camp. He was even gracious enough to lend us items to make our stay even better! We had a wonderful time & enjoyed the clean camp ground right next to a peaceful river. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to stay again in the future.

Beautiful spot in the mountains, slept right next to a creek. Lots of land and space on Randy’s place, he’s building more campgrounds but meanwhile you can enjoy primitive camping and still feel safe. We can’t wait to comeback!

Randy was a great host. He is very friendly, attentive and genuinely seems to care that you have a good experience at his campground. Communication was excellent, never had any issues getting in touch with hi by phone or through Hipcamp messaging. Beautiful field right on the water. Great place if you want to group camp. If you are looking for a private campsite this may not be the best place to camp. All the campsites are in the open with full sun most of the day. Hipcamp has the address wrong on the directions so make sure you reach out to Randy for clarification.

The field was along a nice river. The site was clean and well maintained. Randy was always in touch with us and met our needs perfectly. I would go back in the fall for sure.

Randy’s place was great. His set up is basically a large open field with a river running along the edge. Most of the tents are set up along the rivers edge which provides a nice soundtrack for sleeping. You can basically select any spot you want so get there early! Randy is a very hospitable host and checked to make sure we were happy with our stay.

Randy was a great host! Super friendly, welcoming and laid back! His property is beautiful with a creek running through it and plenty of room to camp and explore with tons of hiking and ATV trails. We brought our dogs and it was super pet friendly. We had an incredibly fun and relaxing stay at Serenity Haven, we will definitely be returning and bringing friends and family next time! We went on the Fourth of July and Randy even did a fireworks show for the guests which was super thoughtful, he helped make the experience even more enjoyable!

Nice spot on the water with good location to access the blue ridge parkway and Boone. We went for 4th of July and were surprised with an awesome firework show. Randy does a nice job checking in on everyone and making sure everyone’s having a good time. There were lots of other campers for 4th of July- so not the most private spot, but a fun time!
