WINTER UPDATE — please note, 4WD vehicles are highly recommended during winter months and that nighttime temperatures can drop into the low teens, so please be sure to check the weather and pack / dress accordingly :)

Our homestead is located in a private cove in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains, about an hour west of Asheville. Just far enough to escape the chaos of the city, but not too far to feel deprived of modern conveniences.

In fact our hope is to provide a restorative, green experience to our campers. We are an active homestead in-the-making, and are in the process of bringing our property to life with organic wildflower and vegetable gardens, and a side of honey bees (next spring).

Our "BYOT" (bring-your-own-tent) campsites are located near the Guesthouse and large communal fire pit, which you can choose from while booking. Each "site" can accommodate up to four people, two tents and two cars. Sorry, please note that we cannot accommodate large RVs or trailers on our property.

Within the communal fire pit is a campfire grill which you're welcome to use. One bundle of firewood is included for each night booked. Additional firewood can be purchased in person or via Hipcamp.

We also have a fancier canvas tent available to book if you prefer a more private, forested camping experience. Either way, you'll have access to a fire pit for cooking, as well as the indoor Guesthouse camp kitchen, and most 'modernly,' an indoor bathroom with flush toilet and hot shower.

Amazing! Will definitely return. Fabulous site for a small group or few families. Hosts were welcoming and took excellent care of the site and camping needs; perfect balance between being available and offering us privacy. They even left a thermos of hot water for us in the guest house every morning. Guest house was a great shelter for meals or when we needed a break from the elements. The site is exactly as listed—primitive camping without electric including at the guest house. Hosts have set up the guest house with a handy sink with bottled water, camp stove, and all the kitchen essentials you might have forgotten. We cannot wait to come again in the spring!
