WINTER UPDATE — please note, 4WD vehicles are highly recommended during winter months and that nighttime temperatures can drop into the low teens, so please be sure to check the weather and pack / dress accordingly :)

Our homestead is located in a private cove in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains, about an hour west of Asheville. Just far enough to escape the chaos of the city, but not too far to feel deprived of modern conveniences.

In fact our hope is to provide a restorative, green experience to our campers. We are an active homestead in-the-making, and are in the process of bringing our property to life with organic wildflower and vegetable gardens, and a side of honey bees (next spring).

Our canvas tent is spacious and can easily accommodate up to four people. Inside you will find two Casper mattresses; a queen and a twin XL. There is also a bit of extra floor space for a sleeping bag if needed.

The tent is located on a private clearing just a short walk up our forested ridge. Alongside the tent is a large picnic table and fire pit with swivel grill. One bundle of firewood is included for each night booked. Additional firewood can be purchased in person or via Hipcamp.

We also have classic "BYOT" bring-your-own-tent campsites available if you prefer to pitch your own tent. Either way, you'll have access to a fire pit for cooking, as well as the indoor Guesthouse camp kitchen, and most 'modernly,' an indoor bathroom with flush toilet and hot shower.

We had such an amazing time during our stay at senza-nome homestead. The hosts were so kind and hospitable. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It rained heavily during our stay. The hosts made sure we had hot water for teas and offered extra blankets.

The canvas tent was so warm despite the cool rainy October nights. We were so cozy! The cove was beautiful and quiet. It was such a wonderful retreat. We will definitely be back!

The barn has been fitted into a wonderful camp kitchen. The coveThe camp kitchen barn at night. The site is well lit with solar lights. Beautiful, relaxing stay

Senza Nome is an incredible space at an affordable price! The amenities at the campsite were way more than we expected and Sebastian and Will were extremely helpful. We will definitely return in the spring/summer.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Senza-nome homestead. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, and the site was awesome. The tent was really beautiful and homey, and a nice drive to hiking or into the city. Would definitely come back!
