Mother nature has provided a soft sandy spot in front of a waterfall to campers to enjoy. Overland vehicles with four-wheel drive may be able to park at the beach; two-wheel drive vehicles will have to park about 300ft uphill. The bathroom will be available in a camper I am remodeling. An outside shower is also available at the camper. Swimming is usually possible at the base of the falls, but large amounts of rain can change conditions and make it unusable.

I should also add, this in not a completely private campsite deep in the woods.  The campsite is visible from a shared driveway and my residence is up a hill that overlooks the area.   Still much quieter and private than a regular campground.

Pasture and one stall available for horse campers at additional cost.

Close to US National Whitewater Center (mountain biking, whitewater rafting, kayaking), Kings Mountain National Military Park (Horseback riding and history), Crowders Mountain (Hiking), 3 miles off of I-85 and US-321 for people passing through.

Host was great. Site is on a sandy area next to waterfall and stream. Found about 4 pieces of broken glass in the area so be mindful. Two nice swings to enjoy the view. Picnic table was new. Adequate sink and toilet. #hiddengem

Absolutely unbelievable camping experience! Scott's property is a dream. Plenty of privacy, and truly gorgeous views. The campsite itself was perfect -- set up tent with a magical view of the waterfall. The area was clean, and I could not have felt more safe and comfortable. Scott is a very sweet host and we unfortunately got rained out of meeting his goats, but it is something I very much look forward to on our next stay! We will absolutely be coming back, my only regret was only staying for one night!
