Rippetoe Farm
The hosts were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had access to firewood. Unfortunately the camping area was close to neighboring properties which were VERY noisy at night. I wouldn't recommend this site if you are looking for peace and quiet - however it was a very pretty property and may suite those camping with a group or not necessarily seeking out a quiet site.

Rippetoe Farm
The property is 100 acres with trails cut all throughout. It is half family owned farm land, half wooded mountain trails. Kyle, the host is helpful and kind. The brothers inherited the land from their grandfather and have a ton of plans for it. Currently they raise egg hens and pigs. They have built a rustic cabin with an wood burning stove for heat in the colder months with front porch screen and all. The rest of the land is ideal for primitive and hammock camping. We chose a spot down by the pond. Keep an eye out for poison ivy, but other than that the spot was excellent. So much potential at this site!
