Random spot to camp that was great!
Great site if you want to be close to Chimney Rock state park. There were 4 sites on the property and they were all close together like a campground. Great spot for several families to land. There isn't really any place to hike or explore from the site, except the creek. It was incredible to listen to at night. It is not private, definitely on someone else's property but they were quiet and unseen. You can see neighbors over the creek but it is early spring before the leaves had grow in. The creek is definitely the highlight and it would be great in the summer!! I recommend it as a safe, clean, place to camp. There was also a potbelly pig and chickens on the property. Our dog was able to run free off leash with no issue. Be ready for the rooster alarm.

It was a beautiful spot. Very quiet and the river was beautiful. We only spent one night here but would love to come back and spend more time!

Great spot, didn't spend too much time at camp but it was great for using as a base at night. Great location, no more than 2 hours to anything you might want to see in the area.
Expected wifi to be available, but even standing next to the greenhouse I wasn't able to find the right network to use the password on. Not a big deal though. Thanks Danny!

Tranquil, private, and close to fantastic hikes + exploring Lake Lure & Chimney Rock! It would make a great spot for a group camp out with multiple friends/family. I would also feel very safe staying here as a solo female camper. I’ll definitely be back!
