Mystic Meadow Love Shack
Can’t wait to come back!
Wendy has put such great intentionality into the Love Shack! She’s a dream host! If you forgot something at home, there’s a great chance you’ll find something that will help around camp. From a sweet hiking trail nearby to the super clean bathroom and multiple lounging areas around camp we could not get enough of this place, rain or shine!

Mystic Meadow Love Shack
The love shack was a perfect little hide away! Wendy really went above and beyond with all the little details and makes it a really special place. The outhouse was cleaner, nicer, and smelled better than 99% of public restrooms I've ever used (literally no smell in the outhouse). The bed was super comfy and she had soft flannel sheets on the bed so I was nice and cozy on those cold nights. Her property is beautiful too and I'm glad I was able to get a little hiking in without having to drive anywhere! If you do want to go to some other places she has a box full of great parks or things to do near by. I would highly recommend this spot and hope to make a trip back one day!

Mystic Meadow Love Shack
Wendy had an amazing little spot, it was so peaceful and quiet and there was a lot of stuff already provided there to do outdoor cooking, even a little fire wood set out for us to get started :)! Loved the creek and the dogs had so much fun, we even heard turkeys which was cool. Wendy made sure we checked in ok and made sure our first night went well which was very nice and appreciated! Would definitely stay here again!!

Mystic Meadow Love Shack
Great Spot
Cozy and cute hideaway. You have neighbors maybe 400 yards away, but you're secluded on a pleasant little creek in the forest. Easy access to town and a short drive to epic hiking. Friendly hostt who makes sure you have what you need. It's car camping but in an A frame tiny house with an adjacent out house. Recommended.

Great Little Private Camp Site
Husband and I stayed at The Love Shack over the weekend and had a great time.Although it was very very cold outside we made it work and enjoyed our stay. The propane heater kept us warm. There is a CO alarm in shack. The bedding is comfortable and the linens and comforter are cozy and keep you warm. There’s plenty of battery operated lighting that is provided. The toilet is a short walk and works for what you need it for.We brought our own water and camp equipment to cook with. The large window/door with latch was such a neat idea as we opened it during the day.Wendy was so sweet and left us a welcome basket and because it was our anniversary she left us a wine bottle.we appreciated her hospitality.she is so thoughtful and kept in touch with us throughout our stay.she’s also a firefighter which made me feel safe in case an emergency may arise. The place is so cute and well thought out.Fire pit was perfect and the rocking chairs on the deck allowed us to sit and relax and take in nature that surrounds the little shack. There’s a neat small town in Downtown Madison with a Dry Goods store that has so many old and cool items and free museum and the owner is such a nice man.It was featured on Netflix 28 days haunted about the Lawsons Family Murder.Good burgers fries and an enormous Banana split at Checkers Grill and Grocery in Madison.Lots of farmland and farm animals.such a cool little inexpensive trip.people are so polite here. Will definitely return in the Warmer months.Thank you Wendy

Mystic Meadow Love Shack
We LOVED this property!!! Wendy is so sweet and accommodating! The bed was super comfy and all of the little touches at the Love Shack were perfect! The town of Madison is only about 10 mins away and it had so many fun things to do… distillery, brewery, restaurants, coffee shop and the haunted General Store and Museum were outstanding!
