What a wonderful experience.
Private , peaceful, beautiful property. The hosts are the sweetest! Brought us a dozen fresh eggs, never had fresh eggs before and they were delicious.
Kayak, row boating and nature...
The chickens are so cute.
Instructions were clear, no rush checking out.
5 star experience would certainly return soon!
Didn’t end up staying to camp because of some weather but would definitely love to come back to camp! Melody was so kind, responded quickly and was informative about the campsite and weather while we were traveling. Thank you and hope to be back soon!!
Our campsite was perfect for our family of 4 with three tents and our furbaby. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. Site #3 is flat, at the edge of the property with bountiful trees for hammocks and shade if needed, and on the water...gorgeous. Our host, Melody was so gracious, my son used her kayak, we toured the chicken coop and we received farm fresh eggs from her fancy chickens.- Bonus!
We would definitely return for more R&R!
Chicken oasis - great campsite!
It was so nice staying at this location! We stayed at site #3 and it was perfect! Melody (the host) was so friendly and helpful and immediately there was a great first impression. The chickens were great and fascinating to watch! The ONLY thing that wasn't that great was if you're new to being around chickens then prepare yourself to wake up around 4:30 AM the first morning you're there. But hey with camping you can nap whenever you want! :-) There was a rowboat and a kayak we could have used with life jackets (we were only there for a couple days). But if this wasn't a 3 hour drive then we would be coming back all the time! Regardless, some day I want to stay here again because it's the perfect location to get away from the hustle and bustle of everything.
