Whoa! Stuart and Kenny are amazing hosts! These two Tent/Cabins are beautiful and the bathhouse was a godsend. If you have people in your group / or it's about time for that shower on a long road trip this would be an amazing spot to stop!
Located just in the mountains above Asheville the views on the drive are amazing and the space away from everything is lovely! Even the rain over night we were completely protected and the rain was so peaceful. Didn't get a chance to start up a fire but even withought they provided everything we needed from towels and soap to a grill with pots and pans.
Again, a great place to step away and experience the stillness of life without too much work just remember to bring your own toothbrush, food and drinks!!
Stuart us awesome. The place is super quiet and very cozy. The bed and linens are freshly laundered and very inviting. I slept great. LED "lighting bugs" in a mason jar is an example of how Stuart and Kenny take to the time to make sure that guests feel welcome.
Highly reccommend this place
We had a wonderful stay at the tent cabin! Stuart was a great host and was available to answer our questions and make check-in/check-out as easy as possible. We loved how secluded the tent cabin was on the property; it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The tent cabin had everything we needed - netting to keep out bugs, a very comfortable bed, bottled water, coffee and cookware, towels and a beautiful bathhouse. We can’t wait to stay here again!
If you are looking for a quaint spot to stay between the smokies and the blue ridge this tent is perfect. Stewart and Kenny are great hosts and everything was clean and cute just like the pictures. We would love to come back again.
A perfect glamping experience
From the abundance of pillows to the bedside lanterns, it was everything you would expect of a great glamping experience. The tent cabin was secluded and charming with the bath house just a short (uphill) hike away. My daughter and I were there for Mother's Day, and it was the perfect place to read, relax and play cards. Oh and it rained...a lot...practically the whole time we were there, but isn't that what it is supposed to do when you're camping? Besides the rain pittering on the canvas tent is soooo relaxing!
After hiking all day in the ⃣NC mountains, this was the perfect place to relax. The tent cabin and bath house are perfect! I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Stuart was a great host and was in constant contact with me making sure I had everything I need.
Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful
The tent space and facilities were as described. Quiet, private, peaceful. We heard two trains pass once in the morning and one in the early evening, otherwise very peaceful and quite. Birds chirping, deer visiting in the morning. Showers and bath were very clean close by. The walk in was as described, we over packed but we always do!
Get away to nature in style!
My wife and I had a wonderful time at the tent cabin! We needed a day or two to get away from our busy lives and detox in nature, and this site fit the bill perfectly. We enjoyed the mix of camping and comfort that the site offers; you're out in the quiet woods with deer and birds outside the tent most mornings, but you get to sleep on a real bed and use a real shower and toilet and hot water. Having toiletries, towels, linens, and cooking supplies provided was another bonus! Stuart even put a bag of ice in the cooler for us to put our food in when we arrived. The site is close to many activities: hiking, zip lining, and rafting to name a few! We hiked the Lovers Leap trail and part of the AT (about 30 minutes from the site) and really enjoyed it. A few tips: the 1/4 mile hike to the site is up and down hills and a bit strenuous when hauling provisions and luggage, so bring an off-road cart and/or pack as light as possible! Also, make sure to watch your footing going back and forth from the bath house; it can be a bit slippery especially in the morning (they have a sign letting you know in case you forget ;-)). So if you want many of the comforts of home in the middle of nature, this may be your spot!
