Back to nature
Liz and her husband Tom were very hospitable hosts. Their farm is amazing and the animals are all so well taken care of and sweet as can be. My family had such a wonderful time and we will definitely be back.
The RV is very nice, clean, and even still has that new RV smell! It is well stocked with everything needed for a great stay. BTW, we stayed in mid-July and the heat was not a problem for the RV. It is parked under some trees and has a very powerful air conditioner. All the animals at the farm are very sweet, you can tell they are well cared for. We strolled the property in the evening and again in the morning...so relaxing and peaceful! To top it off, Liz is a great host and could not have been more hospitable. Will definitely come back!
A lovely farm experience
Staying in the RV on a legacy farms was a treat. I was driving through and after ten hours of driving a private clean comfortable RV was just what I needed to catch some rest. It was clean, great A/C and comfortable bed. Being able to do a walk around with Tom during the morning farm routine was a wonderful experience. A lovely farm, A lovely couple, and a lovely experience! I hope to get a chance to visit again!
Beautiful farm/adorable animals
We have been trying to take little trips this summer to keep life as fun and as normal as possible for our two young daughters during the pandemic. We found Legacy Farms on HipCamp and right from the start Liz was helpful and quick to answer all of our questions-even before booking. We easily found the farm and Liz was waiting to show us around. She introduced us to all of the animals and gave us a tour of the entire farm. We spent the night in their brand new RV. It was so well equipped! It had bedding, dishes, and even a coffee pot. We appreciated the air conditioning as it was super hot during our stay. We booked the farm tour as an add on to the trip and the girls where able to collect eggs, help feed the animals and help milk the goats. They loved their time in the farm! The animals were all so sweet and well taken care of. I have never met such sweet and spoiled horses! As Tom walked them out to the pasture in the evening, he introduced us to each one and told us all about them. These horses are clearly loved! Our girls loved all of the very friendly barn cats and I fell in love with the goats and the very friendly little grey stallion who talked to use and begged for treats every time we opened the camper door. We couldn’t have asked for nicer hosts or a better get away for our daughters. We are planning another trip to Legacy Farms with a small group of friends as soon as the weather is a little cooler.
**Also, be sure to try Liz’s amazing goat cheese and homemade jelly’s. After trying them, we bought several to take home.
Liz and her husband were very welcoming. Their farm is beautiful and it was a joy waking up and seeing Stalone (the stallion) in the mornings and mindy(dog) doing her rounds at night all her animals were very friendly especially willow (the goat) i would definitely visit again.
Relax, recharge and goat cheese.
Liz and Tom are such great hosts. We had a great time. We got to pet horses, made goat cheese and relaxed and recharged. The property is gorgeous. Can't wait to go back!
Out of the comfort zone
Liz and Tom were very welcoming.they showed us around ,told us about the farm.they let walk around and pet the horses.Liz showed us how to make goat cheese and Tom showed us and let us milk the goats. Very fun to see all the other animals.
Best possible experience!
We had an amazing experience staying here! The RV was so nice and comfortable. Liz and Tom were wonderful hosts and answered all the questions we had before we got there and while we were there. The RV is cozy for 4 adults but not too small! We also did the jam making experience and it was wonderful! Liz gave us all handwritten recipe cards and had each of us doing different parts of the jam making. It was so good that we bought 12 other jars of jam/pickles and 2 pints of goat cheese! All her prices were so reasonable and everything we ate was delicious! I highly recommend coming and staying here for a vacation. The farm is beautiful and all the animals are friendly and so well taken care of.
