Nice quiet spot to pitch a tent and hang out. Super quiet at night, and the sound of flowing water between the two ponds was nice to fall asleep to. Timothy and the property manager who met us at the site were super friendly and accommodating. Would recommend.
A trip for a lifetime
Tim is THE MAN. Gave us exact directions to the site and met us there on his 4 wheelers. Extremely down to earth, knowledgeable man who loves where he lives and what he does. The site was absolutely perfect and stocked with bountiful wood. There is so much to do and Tim was more than a fantastic host. We will be back and it is because of Tim.
Tim and his property are amazing. He met us upon arrival and gave us a great tour. The land is varied and has something for everyone. There are plenty of flat spots to camp and the creeks were so beautiful and peaceful. The rope swing, log bridges across the creeks, and ponds with fish were big highlights. To top it off he even offered to have us come up to his house for coffee and hot cocoa during the rain one morning, such great hospitality. I highly recommend staying here, especially with kids.
Kinderhook Hollow was beautiful, Private, with lots of things for kids to do including a rope swing! Beautiful river and pond. Timothy is the most friendly, gracious and helpful of hosts.
Timothy was a fantastic host! He provided us with firewood, plenty of drinking water, and allowed us to change our site since no one else was staying there. My husband and I loved the privacy of the site, the sound of the streams at night, and the close proximity to plenty of hiking and downtown Asheville. I definitely recommend staying at Kinderhook Hollow :)
